I liked the gameplay it is a good game to pick up if you like the Dark Souls franchise. Again, some annoying aspects including load times and overall optimization.

If you love the *Souls series (Demon's Souls, Dark Souls I/II/III), then you'll probably love this game. It does play a little faster than the other *Souls games however. It is very challenged and there can be a bit of a learning curve if you've never played on of these games before. The environment/graphics look incredible, and the game-play is top notch. I would recommend this game to anyone who loves a challenge, and anyone who loves the *Souls series of games.

Fast paced and more streamlined story than dark souls. Great game if you want a more forgiving game than Dark Souls.

Bloodborne is the spiritual successor of Dark souls and it shows. Combat is fluid and challenging, you will die a lot.

I played each of the Souls games and Bloodborne managed to surpass all of them entirely with far superior gameplay and an infinitely more interesting world. There's nothing else like it out there. If you like Castlevania and Lovecraft, buy Bloodborne. The combat is second to none, the music is beautiful, the creature designs are nightmare fuel, the bosses are the best I've seen in years, I really can't say enough about this game. Best game I've ever played.

Never played Japanese developed horror action/adventure video games? Well Bloodborne is a great place to start! Save Dark Souls for later. The enemies are powerful (as usual) so if you get scared or panic while hunting, and you will.. have fun anyways, continue dying until you learn that this game is not a joke and it takes skill to survive the madness. One thing you need to know is that whatever happens, trying is not enough and you are going to die a lot before you get better so have a scary good time with a game that offers hours on hours on hours of strategic gorey gameplay :p

Its a little difficult at the beginning, but once you get use to , you will not going to want to stop playing it. The graphics are amazing. 9+ to this game.

Another fun and challenging where I don't mind dying over and over again 'cos I enjoy the trill of combat in the game!

As difficult as Dark Souls for me but I love the gameplay and graphics are killer.

A brutal experience akin to the original Dark Souls that leaves you wanting to continue playing to just get better. However, this game brings you into a Victorian-era London-like city that is not quite as it seems as you go through and fight endless waves of crazed people in the city. The world is dark and menacing and evokes a sense of H.P. Lovecraft and maybe a little H.R. Giger in some cases. Simply put: Amazing.

Great game with a great atmosphere and visuals. Solid fair challenging game play. Don't get frustrated, it's worth it.

Bloodborne owes much of its aesthetic to classic horror and Lovecraft, a winning combination for a game so seeped in atmosphere and gloom. Coming from the developers of the Dark Souls series, Bloodborne is just as challenging as one would expect from From Software and is, as such, also just as rewarding. I have played through this game numerous times at this point and each experience is just as enjoyable as the last.

Bloodborne is a game that is both challenging and fair. If you have played any of the Souls games (Demon souls or Dark Souls 1 / 2) then this game is for the most part more of the same (definitely not a bad thing) there are only a few changes namely the switch weapons as they replace 2 handing weapons entirely. The Combat is smooth just as smooth if not a little smoother than DS or DkS. Overall this is a great game and I would recommending it to anyone looking for a challenge.

Bloodborne is hard. Like, really hard. You'll die a lot. But that's okay for two reasons: (1) the Victorianesque Lovecraftian environment is awesome to wander through, and (2) the game makes you a better player for having died so much. There is a frustration factor here, as if you can't quite get the hang of the gameplay, you're not likely to progress far. But if you don't mind being challenged a bit, the game becomes incredibly satisfying when you finally beat the tough parts.

Beautifully rendered and visually stunning; however, not for the beginner as the difficulty of this game cannot be adequately expressed. Believe the reviews and you will be in the fight of your life from the start.

I have never played a Dark Souls title and heard the game was living up to the notoriously difficult predecessors. Thus far, I am really enjoying the game! It has gorgeous graphics and is really different from what I typically play. This is not a game for casual a 20-30 minutes as you need to remember where you have been and where you need to go but it is a great way to knock out a solid few hours on the weekend and feel accomplished when beating those huge bosses. Really fun!

The game starts out looking like it is going to be like most games. Where you start off easy and then it gets progressively harder. The first battle is against a monster that you have no hope of beating, thankfully when you dies you get taken to the place where you do all your shopping, If I remember correctly it is called the dream state, and you are given your first set of weapons free. Then you are transported back to where you were and the game continues. It is just like Dark Souls in the face that you have to be very mindful and thoughtful of what you are doing at all times.

Nice Gothic style, great graphics, good story.......if you in to those aforementioned you will enjoy this game.

While The game has a high difficulty curve, once you get the hang of it, you will be in for a treat. A++
