When I first purchased Bloodborne I had never played any of the Soulsborne games. I am so glad I decided to make the jump. Bloodborne is a fantastic experience that offers a thrilling art style, taut gameplay, and a well crafted difficulty level. Overall I have no major complaints. WARNING. If you are not a fan of gothic and lovecraftian inspired imagery, you may not feel comfortable playing this game

The game is hard and you will die a lot but the combat is deep and when you succeed it feels great.

Not for the faint of heart, a very challenging game with stunning visuals and heart pumping action.

this game is as beautiful as it is gorgeous. I have a super high end pc and the graphic ca of this game surpass almost anything I have seen. If you have play the souls series games you know this game is brutally difficult. One place I prefer over souls is combat. It's close to timing and dodging and staying on the offensive like god of war but with much more relianc on being strategic. If you like a challenge this game is for you.

Usually this is not my type of game but I couldn't pass this up at the price. This game won game of the year in 2015 for a reason. Now I want to play all the demon and dark soul games because they have the same style of play, strategy and intensity. Buy this game if you are a gamer and you want a challenge.

Please to say this should have been the first game I should have started as it is easy to play through many enemies in your path. Easy to maneuver and slash your way. It is overall Challenging and Fulfilling for you hardcore Bloodborne to Dark Soul Fan. Bought this when it was on sale for 14.99. can't get any better than that plus if you have undergamer's club unlocked. Would recommend it anybody who has lots of patients and someone new to this genre. Mostly recommended for beginners i would start here.

I played this at launch... at hated it, way too hard. When it went on sale for the price of a sandwich, I figured I'd give it another try. With all the updates/patches, it runs great (no more long loading!). My biggest piece of advice is have someone help you or watch videos for the first hour to get a handle on it. That's the most frustrating part of the game. After that, you won't be able to put it down!

Excellent RPG game. Great story, weapons and favorite game of year. It is hard but well worth it.

Coming from the Souls series, this game has been a nice breath of fresh air with the change in aesthetic and more of a focus on more aggressive play. Rather than the tried and true, sword and shield, wait until they attack rhythm of the Souls' games, this game encourages and rewards you for not playing that way when possible. As expected this is a very challenging but incredibly rewarding and satisfying game through and through.

Dark Souls was one of my all time favorite games. I liked Dark Souls 2 but not as much as the first DS. Bloodborne puts this genre back on top! You no longer rely on your shield and need to be more agile. Some may not like this change, but to me it is great. If you were not a fan of Demon and Dark Souls you probably won't want to get this. If you want beautiful graphics and haunting gameplay then go out and grab this game now!

Haven't been a big fan of these types of games in the past but decided to give this a shot after all these years. Glad I did! Graphics still hold up and the environments/atmosphere is amazing. Gameplay is fast and tough but rewarding. Once you get the hang of it, you will have a hard time putting the controller down.

I've enjoyed From Software titles back to Kings Field (PS1 era). The gameplay of Bloodborne is addictive and extremely challenging. This game rewards (and punishes) the player for patience, perseverance and curiosity - a hallmark of this studio. Visually the game is stunning. This game is violent so this is no kids title. Was an excellent value upon release at $60. At $20, it's an absolute steal!

This game is a work of art. Pure and simple. It may not be for everyone, but I found it to be immensely enjoyable and completely engrossing. It tells a deep, rich and dark story in an atypical way. There are literally 60+ hours of content in the base game and add to that the chalice dungeons, coop and PvP and you have one of the best games of the year and for many years prior. This is a must own for this generation of consoles.

Wow. I've had my PS4 since November and mostly played Destiny. After binging hours and hours on that game, I bought Bloodborne out of the shear hype and rave reviews. I hated the game within the first 5 minutes, but after I learned how to play via youtube videos, this game is one of the most rewarding experiences I've had with gaming. I work a full time job and can't wait to get home and play a few hours. Definitely worth it!

Nice graphics with beautiful artwork in a dark world. Combat is difficult but also rewarding. Load times can be very slow.

I have never played a better game in my opinion. Bloodbourn is amazing. I had bought one PS4 system just to play this game. However, it was a referbished system and it never worked right. I had to get another one due to it's declineing condition. Now I just bout a second Bloodbourn disc so I can play it online with my sister. I just hope my old system lasts a little while longger.

Beware if you played previous Souls games defensively, since there is no shield you can `turtle' behind! I didn't realize just how much I relied on the shield in past games until I started playing Bloodborne -- it was pretty rough for a bit -- but I'm slowly getting the hang of the combat and it's much more fluid and exciting. There are also a _lot_ more enemies on screen at a time and it can be very easy to get surrounded.

Bloodbourne is by far the best game From Software has put out! The mechanics are improved, making every movement flow a lot better than in the soul series. The bosses are also great in this game, being extremely difficult and unrepetative. The graphics are also very befitting of the nextgen consoles. If you loved the Soul Series or never played a From Software game I recommend this one to you, but be ready to die... A lot.
