Fans of Dark Souls will love this game. The fast-paced gameplay has many tough moments, but your time and effort pay off as you refine your approach in fighting. Few games in today's era are as deep and interesting as Bloodborne; as you play, you are rewarded for persevering through challenges.

I would not only recommend this game to friends, but I would recommend this to anyone that liked Dark Souls, or has thought about liking the Souls Series. This game challenges even the most veteran of players (including myself, death count was nearly 200 my first time playing through).

I am not gonna say this is a bad game it was cheap and it was too hard for me so I have stopped playing its not the games fault I suck at it and it seems cool in theory give it a shot honestly but be prepared you will be over powered on many occasions by too many enemies.

I'm not usually into hard games but this one caught my eye and I'm so glad it did! I've never played souls games before but I went in the game knowing I would die a lot. The game is more rewarding than any other and makes you really feel proud to have beat an area or boss. Must own game for the PS4.

Bloodborne is a whole new game with it's own mechanics and lore. Any Dark souls fan will have a great time with this. For other's unfamiliar with this title and company's other works, it's a tough game. The difficultly is insane and not everyone can handle it which is why it is loved by many.

This game is everything that one has come to expect out of From Soft. It's beautiful. It's slightly obtuse. It is frustratingly hard. In the end, though, no other game will give you that elation when you do finally beat that boss, or get through that level, or whatever it is that is bedeviling you.

great gameplay may be difficult for some that are not hard core gamers

It's a lot of fun and much more fast paced than the souls games. I like it more because it feels more like a action oriented hack and slash game than the sit around and wait gameplay of the souls games. It also has a really cool setting and motif. The environments are just incredible.

If you're a fan of punishing gameplay, Bloodborne is for you. The game takes its cue from fantasy action RPG predecessors, Dark Souls and Demon's Souls (same developer), pitting players against unpredictable and brutal enemies across a vast, rich game world - all in an effort to make the player appreciate the small victories and to learn from mistakes along the way.

This a very interesting take on this genre. It's more about offense than the Dark Souls games which seem to focus on defense. The progression in the game is a bit easier than Dark Souls but some people prefer it otherwise. For $15-$20 you can't go wrong with this game.

This builds on what we were given with Demon's Souls and Dark Souls (1-3) but the gameplay is a bit faster-paced so there's a bit of a learning curve. I see this as a benefit as we aren't simply being fed the same stuff time and again.

I good game that is once again washed out by exclusivity. A locked 30fps with multiple frame drops doesn't do justice in this beautiful nightmarish world. You play as a hunter who's goal is a mystery in a town filled with monsters in almost every corner out to destroy you. This is a very difficult game. Not for casuals. Not for the feint of hearts!

That title could be argued with games like Dark Souls, but those are in the same category. This was the first game I played from From Software, and was immediately intrigued and hooked. If you're looking for something different, but has a likeness to older, difficult games, give this one a try.

i love the graphic and story line...its a good game for my son

I had never played any of the other games like this so didn't no what to expect but I really like this game it can be a little hard at time but once you get the hang of it you can run through it.I would get it if you get the chance.

I always loved the souls games and this game definitely doesn't disappoint. It has a rough start to the game but once you get past that you will enjoy the challenging boss fights and amazing environment. You will want to play through this game multiple times. May the good blood guide your way.

Everything came in excellent condition, also an amazing game. Highly recommend to anyone who remotely enjoys From Soft games.

It's one of those games that is tough as nails when you get down to it but the difficulty makes the rewards so much better. When you beat a boss your brain will give you a big dose of dopamine. This game won't hold your hand and if you come out the other side you'll feel like a million bucks.

Great game. Great graphics. My son loves playing it and i love watching him play the game.. it's very interesting

I loved all the other games int he souls series, not only for their difficulty but also the rewarding combat system that forces you to not only "git gud" but to respect your enemy as they can most likely take more hits than you. Its a great game, just as noted in the title the loading times are kinda sucky right now, and it feels like a minute after every death.
