I good game that is once again washed out by exclusivity. A locked 30fps with multiple frame drops doesn't do justice in this beautiful nightmarish world. You play as a hunter who's goal is a mystery in a town filled with monsters in almost every corner out to destroy you. This is a very difficult game. Not for casuals. Not for the feint of hearts!

This game is everything that one has come to expect out of From Soft. It's beautiful. It's slightly obtuse. It is frustratingly hard. In the end, though, no other game will give you that elation when you do finally beat that boss, or get through that level, or whatever it is that is bedeviling you.

great gameplay may be difficult for some that are not hard core gamers

If you're a fan of punishing gameplay, Bloodborne is for you. The game takes its cue from fantasy action RPG predecessors, Dark Souls and Demon's Souls (same developer), pitting players against unpredictable and brutal enemies across a vast, rich game world - all in an effort to make the player appreciate the small victories and to learn from mistakes along the way.

That title could be argued with games like Dark Souls, but those are in the same category. This was the first game I played from From Software, and was immediately intrigued and hooked. If you're looking for something different, but has a likeness to older, difficult games, give this one a try.

I had never played any of the other games like this so didn't no what to expect but I really like this game it can be a little hard at time but once you get the hang of it you can run through it.I would get it if you get the chance.

I always loved the souls games and this game definitely doesn't disappoint. It has a rough start to the game but once you get past that you will enjoy the challenging boss fights and amazing environment. You will want to play through this game multiple times. May the good blood guide your way.

It's one of those games that is tough as nails when you get down to it but the difficulty makes the rewards so much better. When you beat a boss your brain will give you a big dose of dopamine. This game won't hold your hand and if you come out the other side you'll feel like a million bucks.

Great game but is definitely hard at points in the game. These PS hits go on sale for $10 often and you definitely get a lot of great content for the money. Just waiting for the PS5 upgrade.

I loved all the other games int he souls series, not only for their difficulty but also the rewarding combat system that forces you to not only "git gud" but to respect your enemy as they can most likely take more hits than you. Its a great game, just as noted in the title the loading times are kinda sucky right now, and it feels like a minute after every death.

What can I say about this game that you probably don't already know... It's amazing! Fromsoftware really out did themselves with this one. It's the perfect blend of action & combat. The controls are tight & visuals stunning. An absolute must have title for this generation as a PS4 exclusive!

This is one of the best games on ps4 right now. Brutal difficulty brings back memories of old school gaming. New game is currently cheaper than pre-owned. What are you trying to pull Best Buy? Do yourself a favor and buy new.

I've had limited interaction with the Souls games, but I've enjoyed what I have played of Bloodborne, though it's taking some learning. There are definite differences, such as not being able to "heal" at checkpoints. Not for casual gamers, and be prepared to die a lot. But I'm guessing, if you are looking at this game, you already know that.

A fun game with nice atmosphere but very difficult

This is a great game, I am sure fans of the Demon Souls and Dark Souls game would have a good time with it. It requires repetition, patience, strategy, and perseverance. You will die a lot, so if you're a big rager then I would stay away. The only issue I have is the frame rate/frame pacing and loading times, hopefully a future patch will resolve these issues.

Wow, hard to sum up how amazing this game is. All the reviews on Gamespot and IGN are true to their words. I personally haven't played the Dark Souls game prior to bloodborne, but this is a well balance hack and slash game. Boss battles are tricky, in that they require good timinig and skill.

This game is insanely tough, but totally fair. be sure to look around/explore areas for hidden paths hidden by boxes. shooting an enemy during their wind up for an attack staggers them - crucial for taking down fatties. also - don't buy this game for your 13 year old kid. insanely graphic.

Awesome game. Exploration in the game is fun as well and being non-linear makes it more fun. This game is for people with patience and also be able to think fast. If you liked dark souls you will like this game. Think of it as dark souls withou blocking and no shields and a story. 11/10 IGN!

There are not a lot of hard games on the market. Bloodborne provides the experience of a very hard game and a great experience. From Software has created a very great game to add on to their prestigious list of games that will make you cry and jump for joy. Note. This is not for kids.
