Many refer to this game as a more fast paced, slightly easier Dark Souls (which I admittedly have not been able to get into), and that's pretty much true. Dark, gothic atmosphere with many of the great features in the Souls series. Must have for RPG lovers with a PS4

Never played a Dark Souls game, but everyone compared those games to this game, so if you enjoyed Dark Souls, this is a great game to pick up. There is very little direction given to you, it's all about exploring (and dying) and progressing in both skill and story.

Tough as nails but pretty good. If definitely recommend.

Wish they would come out with a bloodborne 2 already. If you like frustration and defeat this is that game for you.

Went into the game blind after hearing the hype around it and was pleasantly surprised by how fun the combat was. Wish this version came with the dlc though because I heard that it's much better than the base game.

Fun game to play tough figuring out controls but Fun

The environments are captivating to say the least. The learning curve is pretty high. Unfortunately, there are framerate and load time issues. Definitely not game breaking. All in all it's an amazing and well made game.

If you want a challenge then this latest game from FROM Software is the one for you. New game play mechanics change the focus to a much more offensive aggressive game play style which is a welcome change. Also the chalice dungeons add a lot in terms of replay-ability to the game.

This game, like other FromSoft games are not for the weak of heart. They will challenge your mind and reflexes unlike most other modern games. The world of Bloodborne is one of the most interesting I've ever experienced and I cannot stop playing.

If you've ever played any souls series games before, you kind of know what to expect when going into Bloodborne. However, Bloodborne allows for a playstyle you couldn't utilize in souls games that makes for an incredible game. I hope it eventually gets a sequel.

The Souls games set the tone for this grind it out game. If you're up for a challenge, you're in the right place. The pace is a little quicker than the previous Souls games but the imaginative story along with other quirks common to these games makes for an excellent experience.

So I was already familiar with what I was getting into from struggling through Dark Souls II Bloodborne does not disappoint in difficulty, and that satisfaction of finally learning a bosses moves and taking him down. Great game highly recommend for anyone up for a challenge!

This is a great game, but it is not for those who will give up easily. I would argue it's not as hard as the Dark Souls or Demon's Souls games, but it is definitely in the same class as them (though it could be due to being a veteran of both series). Highly recommended.

I've had the PS4 since launch day and in my opinion this is the first MUST own title for the system. It has a unique gothic art style going on that gives the world a lot of character. Graphics are great. The combat is so fluid and best of all, it has a very rewarding feel to it.

Bloodborne has got to be one of the most brutal games I've played to date but it is still a lot of fun despite being so unforgiving. The Boss battles are intense and incredibly satisfying when you emerge victorious! If you are looking for an incredibly challenging game with a dark atmosphere and thrilling combat, then look no further!

This game is not for the weak, but rather those who prefer pain over pleasure. Incredibly challenging enemies coupled with smooth gameplay mechanics make this game hard to put down - but also hard not to throw your controller across the room.

As a newbie to Souls-style games, I was unsure if Bloodborne would cast a spell on me. 20+ hours, innumerable deaths and a half dozen slaughtered bosses later, I can say with confidence that it's the best game on PS4 and a reason to buy the system if you don't already have it.

One of the best games I've ever played. So much fun overcoming the challenges of the boss fights with fast-paced action! Geez, writing this is making me want to go back and play it again!

The gameplay and horror in this game makes for an experience you wont forget. Not only is the world From Software has created amazing, its haunting and deep. You stare in awe as you go from one part of the world to the next and enjoy every moment of it.
