I picked up Bloodborne as a fan of From Software and their Dark Souls trilogy. I was a bit apprehensive at first, since Bloodborne does away with certain aspects I enjoy about the Souls series (using a shield, lots of weapon choices, a faster and more aggressive combat system, etc). After spending some time with Bloodborne, though, I'm happy with my purchase. While Bloodborne narrows its focus on just a handful of weapons, their variety and playstyle give a lot for players to chew on. The dark gothic setting fits well with Souls combat, and the game has plenty of ghoulish and sinister enemies to face. If you enjoy the Souls games and want to try something different, give Bloodborne a try.

Ok for starters, this game treats you with disrespect in a good way. It does not attempt to hold your hand. Which makes it a game where you actually have to pay attention and think. Something most games lack now a days. A definite purchase!!!

If you are a fan of the souls games you'll love this one too - imo this is the best of the lot- punishing but fair - game rewards the aggressive player -the environment is amazing. Mechanics are familiar yet different.

Didnt take much to amaze me. The atmosphere is just so good. From Software did it right. Still on the first area for about a month though. Havent had a chance to get back in it but when i do i wont want to put it down.

I was on the fence about Bloodborne for about a year before finally buying it. Now I consider it one of the best videogames ever made. A MUST BUY for PS4 owners. If it clicks with you then you're in for a treat.

Great game. Just as good as all the Souls games! Difficulty is tough as expected and the graphics are great! However, the time during the load screen is really long.

This game is the antithesis of the typical action game, and that's what makes it great. It respects the player and expects them to learn and respect it. It doesn't hand anything to you on a plate, you earn everything.

The next game in the series from the creators of the Demon/Dark Souls game.. And like the previous games this game will make you Die Die Die Die all the time.. Best thing about it is that its still a good time though.

This is an incredibly difficult game, but if you are a glutton for punishment you'll be right at home with Bloodborne. The action is incredible and the bosses are bigger than life. If you like RPG style elements with tight character controls you'll definitely enjoy it.

A fantastic entry in From's library; it's tough but never unfair, and very fun. It moves a lot faster than the Souls games, and without any real forms of defense, you rely on evading and attacking. A really fun game.

Bloodborne is simply one of the most compelling reasons to own a PS4. The challenge is high, but that feeling when you finally take down a boss that has been plaguing you is like non other. Highly recommended game.

This is the best game currently on PS4. If you are unsure whether to buy it, rest assured you will not regret it. It is tough on you at first but by the time you get to the first boss you will have the hang of it.

This game is difficult and has a learning curve. While the story is lackluster and there is a lot left unexplained the gameplay is flawless and satisfying. This is one of the best games i've played on playstation.

Picked up this game recently for $10 and I can't complain. Seems like there are a lot of good deals for PS4 games with the PS5 right around the corner.

I have played many souls games and this is a great addition. Very fast paced and no shields. Never give up though, it may seem frustrating but once you get that first boss kill you feel so great and very rewarding.

This game is amazing, a must buy for any PS4 owner, it is one the most challenging games to so if u like it easy ur outta luck. But you'll be additced after the first run .

This game boasts a nice warming challenge to the new console generation along with great detail to design and a unique arsenal. There are some frame rate issues sometimes but thats no reason for it to get knocked.

I would recommend this to any fan of Dark Souls, unfortunately I wouldn't for newbs like myself. This game looks great, plays great. It just throws you out there with no direction. Being new to the franchise, I've continued to just be lost. I'm trading it in for MLB.

This game has fast movement that moves as u go. It's not hard but also not easy game to play. Gets very addicting as you get further into playing the game. Great game to play with a friend with PS4 live. Friend can help u generate points
