After shying away from this game for awhile (mainly because I love my shields) I realized what I could've been missing out on.. so I finally jumped in! And boy, this game is a masterpiece. From the enemies, to the setting, to the difficulty.. it's all simply top notch. Probably the best exclusive on the PS4. You're still here? What are you waiting for!?

First time playing a RPG, love it. Good story and great gameplay.

But very close.... if you like the Dark Souls franchise, then this game is for you... great game and good graphics.... many hours of frustration with deaths.... but leveling and developing your character ... you'll reap in the Benefits.... You'll put in many hours like you did in Elder Scrolls

Be ready to die and repeat! you wont get enough of this game!

Excellent, similar to Dark Souls but different feel, fast paced gameplay. Hope a remaster/remake comes along at some point.

This is my first game in the dark souls series and I have to say I hate myself for playing it. It is so f@$&ing anger inducing at times but it's worth it. The visuals are great and the world is dark yet beautiful. Just be sure to take a breather and learn to keep a rythem when fighting bosses. Stay calm and prepare to die. A lot.

Most of what was said in the reviews about Bloodborne was true. It's a slightly older game but just as good when compared to the newer games today in that field. It might not be for everyone but then again no game is...choosing your game is a personal choice but this game is still a winner

This game has wonderfully done graphics, beautiful play style, and an intriguing story line. I found myself immersed from the first cutscene. However, with all games like this, devil may cry, onimusha, dark souls, and God of war, it lacks in its continual playability. The repititous attacks and defending is just mediocre. Otherwise, fantastic game!

Great graphics. The first time you go through new areas, its just awesome, but by design the game requires you to see the exact same areas over and over and over. At first this is ok because you're leveling up, gaining new weapons and learning to beat the big boss. But at some point this style of game design just became tiresome and redundant. I still enjoyed it for the most part, but I'm certainly glad most games are not designed as this one.

A challenging, but rewarding game. Great boss battles and fun combat.

This is a brutal game, both in the sense of the action and gore as well as it being a game that will make you work for your accomplishments. This is a harder game than most nowadays, but that just means when you finally get past that next boss, or beat that section that is giving you trouble, you actually feel like you accomplished something!

If you're new to the FROM SOFTWARE series, this game will be challenging and difficult at first. But DO NOT let that discourage you! Once you get a feel for the gameplay and start advancing further and further into the story, each victory will feel so rewarding! Trust me, haha. You will die many times... but will you continue and overcome the challenges ahead?

I heard great things about this game so I decided to give it a try and man its a great game so far. The graphics are great and the controls are right on par. I went in thinking o this will be a slashing game like the DMC series but I quickly found out its not going to be that easy. If you want something that is going to challenge you then this is it.

This game is stressful, nerve-wracking, annoying, and downright disrespectful to a gamer's ego and self-esteem. That is EXACTLY what a Souls game should be. Bloodborne keeps the successful formula going while adding a totally new feel to the game. Beware, users of the Tower Shield, you won't have anything to hide behind in this exciting entry to the series.

Definitely a must have if you have a ps4! A lot of fun but very hard
