May you find your worth in the waking world. A unique experience in the FromSoftware lineup. Great level design, gritty theming, and unique weaponing make this a fan favorite. While the game is locked to 720P @ 30FPS, it plays at consistent frame rates on the PS5. Hopefully Sony will give this game a boost to a higher resolution and frame rate soon.

This was my first "Souls" game and I didn't think it would be for me, but boy was I wrong. This game is absolutely incredible and you should try it even if you think these games "aren't for me". I was pleasantly surprised and now I'm about to buy the DLC!

The beginning is the roughest, especially if you don't normally play games where you need to level up. The first stages without knowing how to advance or just being lucky in your fighting are difficult. Once you get past the graveyard and bridge and vast wide area opens up. dungeons to explore where different rooms can occur but you have to earn all the things through fighting and collecting. keep playing look at youtube videos if you are truly stuck. if not to find a solution, to see that it isn't impossible.

Full on action, weird story and game play, not quite like any other game. Very difficult to play and frustrating but once you catch on, its pretty much the fun ride (still tough though). Great graphics. Horror genre, sony ps4 exclusive. One of the best.

Bloodborne is one of the hardest games you'll probably ever play. It demands lots of patience and time, but it also delivers a dark Gothic experience unlike any other. It's definitely not for anyone, but it does have a distinct pull that keeps you coming back for more--even if you've promised yourself you'll never play again.

Same thing, but different from From Software. I love the games in the series and this is another challenging one. The environments and atmosphere are amazing and they add an extra layer to the game. While it can be challenging, I still keep on going back for more.

One of the best games I've played on the PS4. I never played Demon/Dark Souls, but this game has been great so far. Very challenging and truly hard, but even as a casual gamer, this game has captured my interest and enjoyment. I intend to play this for a long time.

This game is phenomenal. A throwback to the days before hand-held walk through son levels, you are dropped in the middle of adventure that requires exploration, ingenuity, and patience. Each new area is like a new puzzle to explore, learn, and perfect.

Get used to seeing those words because you will die a lot in this game. It is a very challenging game but the satisfaction of beating a boss is totally worth the effort. This is a fantastic game with an extremely well designed map layout. Everyone should play it.

The game came out at a time when not many ps4 games were hitting the market. The game is amazing! the graphics look great, the gameplay is challenging and the accomplishments are awesome. If you are a Souls, From Software, fan, then i highly recommend this game!

I've never played a souls game in my life and this game is fantastic. It has a great addictive factor but you aren't bound to continuing playing when you don't want to. It has high skill ceiling and constantly changing situations. Def. a must have for PS4 owners.

Not your average game, be ready for pain and frustration. The game doesn't give you anything, you have to earn every step. Oh yeah, the title of the game should tell you something about the game. Red and black is the color theme.

This game has epic bosses, wonderfully detailed levels with a challenge un rivaled by most other games. While it can be difficult, it does not take from the allure of the game, in fact it enhances it. Battles really do feel like battles and when they are won, you feel like the ultimate player. Definitely recommended.

Wish they would come out with a bloodborne 2 already. If you like frustration and defeat this is that game for you.

The game is well designed. It keeps you on your toes and to always pay attention to your surroundings and to the enemies movements. If you never played any of the previous games it will be hard at first and takes time to get used to. The result is worth it

Never played the Souls games, so this was new to me. Since I knew nothing about the mechanics, it was a brutal first couple hours making no progress. Excellent enviroment and feel, creep monsters, fun so far.

If you like very challenging video games then this is for you....takes hours just to get around a very small area and develop your character and study the other creatures you have to kill.

I picked up this game about a week ago and still haven’t finished after an entire week. My first fromsoftware game which is definitely as difficult as people say. I would only recommend this to people who are very good at close range meelee combat.

For those of you who were expecting anything different, you might be a little disappointed. This is a true successor to the Souls franchise. If you've played those games before then you'll feel right at home in Bloodborne. The big difference with this new next gen take on the Dark Souls is its faster and more offensively driven combat system. No longer can you hide beneathe heavy armor and a shield. In fact, there is only one shield in the game and it is pretty much just a joke item that the developers put in the game just to be witty. In this Souls game, you are walking around with a gun in one hand and a melee weapon in the other. It changes the feel of the combat it makes it a lot faster paced. It just feels great! Veterans of the Souls series will find tons to love in Bloodborne but I don't expect this game to change anyone's mind if they didn't enjoy the rest of the Souls series.
