Dark Souls is often todays benchmark for difficulty. If you want a challenge with an interesting story, this game is for you.

I've been enjoying Dark Souls games since 2011, and Bloodborne was the final remaining title in that series that I'd missed. I finally bought a PS4 and, unsurprisingly, adore this game. It's almost reason enough to own Sony's current-gen hardware in its own right. There are some slightly irritating technical issues - steady frame-pacing has never been a strong point of this studio - but that hardly detracts from the beautiful art, tight mechanics, and inventive level design.

This is a very difficult game as most of the other reviewers have pointed out, but it's well worth the effort. It's a great game with a very creepy yet beautiful look and atmosphere.

This game plays a lot like Dark Souls. Very challenging but very rewarding as well. If you like Dark Souls you'll like this.

I was able to platinum the game in one-playthrough, and put a solid 40 hours into it. Incredible game. Visuals and gameplay are top-notch.

Loading times were the only thing that was holding it back from a five star score but now that an update has fixed this it is a great game

Started off slow and confusing, but once i started i couldn't put down the controller. Great game and highly recommend.

This game is similar to demons souls. When you die get ready to do it all over till you get it.
