This game is hard at first but it really gets easier as you play more. IT walks you hand in hand as you get to master the game play mechanics. I love the co op play and definitely the sound. If you have 5.1 or a virtual headset you'll immerse your self into the world.

Went into the game blind after hearing the hype around it and was pleasantly surprised by how fun the combat was. Wish this version came with the dlc though because I heard that it's much better than the base game.

I thought the game play and weapon choices are great, but the game is simply a bit too hard for me. I'd recommend to play this if you're willing to invest the time to learn the mechanics and not discourage by constant death and replay the last 30 min before you die...

Ever hear from those people that LOVE their job - that don't mind the blood, sweat, and tears, because at the end of the day it's worth it for them? Unfortunately, I'm not one of those people, but playing this game may be as close as I ever get to that feeling. The game is gorgeous and feels like rewarding, hard fought for, work.

This game isn't for all, very challenging but fair in it's difficulty. Once the game clicks, it's one of the most fun games I've played in a long time. Wouldn't recommend this for those the more casual gamers, it would put you off and make you mad. But that's half the fun.

There's really only one word that captures the essence of Bloodborne: hard. It's not a game that's going to hold your hand. It is enjoyable, however. If you like Dark Souls and thought, you know, this just isn't hard enough, then Bloodborne may be your cup of tea. If you don't like to suffer and work, don't get the game.

If you like Souls games you'll love this. If you never played one you'll still love this. One of the better games I have played in quite some time. Dripping with atmosphere and careful attention to detail. The level design is a gold standard to judge other games worlds by.

One of the best games I've ever played. So much fun overcoming the challenges of the boss fights with fast-paced action! Geez, writing this is making me want to go back and play it again!

This game does not hold your hand. It's tough, it's frustrating, and ultimately rewarding. You will die a lot if you aren't familiar with the series, but the feeling of accomplishment when you overcome an enemy is worth it. The setting is beautiful and the combat is fast.

Much like other games in the Souls universe, this game is not for your casual gamer. The learning curve at the beginning of the game is very steep. However, if you stick with it (and probably die more times than you can imagine) you will eventually be left with intense feelings of satisfaction with each boss you defeat.

Patience is a virtue! This game is creepy, gory, and fun!! Blood and terror at every turn, replay value is high, and so is the difficulty. Good luck with this one, try not to throw your controller at your TV!!

This was a great purchase for me. It is one of the few games that are challenging enough to last awhile. Normally my son beats them in a week or less and I feel like I wasted money. This one, however, he has been playing for about two months now and is still enjoying it.

Great game!!! I have only gotten through about half of it so far and love it. If you liked Demons Souls, Dark Souls I & II , then you'll like this game...as long as you like using weapons. Pure magic caster types might not dig it as much though, because you can't be one.

This is the main reason I bought a ps4. I am a huge fan of Fromsoft's other works and Bloodborne scratches the Dark Souls itch. This game delivers the souls-like experience while having enough new bells and whistles to not feel like a rehash of Dark Souls.

If you enjoy Dark Souls and the like, you'll love this game. However, if you're not familiar with the genre (which I wasn't at first), prepare to die - a lot. They do not sugarcoat things like most current games do, and you have to figure things out mostly on your own.

I really liked Bloodborne. As a fan that has played all the other Souls games I can say that this one adds all the good stuff from the other games and then some. If you liked games that give you a challenge and you loved the other souls games, you will like Bloodborne.

Wish they would come out with a bloodborne 2 already. If you like frustration and defeat this is that game for you.

If you enjoyed the previous souls games you will enjoy this game. I liked demon souls better than dark souls 1 & 2. I like this game so far the most. Not sure how far i am into it but I'm enjoying the darker atmosphere. Definitely more Gothic/satanic. Hails

This game is hard. I will not lie to you about that. But if you own a PS4, and haven’t played this game...stop whatever it is you’re doing and go get and play this game. Also, the dlc is worth the price tag. Easily in my top 5 of all time.
