I never liked games like dark souls(I don't like to die a lot of times and repeat the same scene a lot of times) but after play this gem I'm going to give a chance to this type of games.

Anyone familiar with the Souls series will enjoy this game. It's a bit more fast-paced but the overall gameplay is very similar to Souls. I would highly recommend picking this game up even if you're not a Souls fan, as the game itself is great.

This game is very difficult— be prepared to invest a lot of time in learning play mechanics, enemy habits, and environments. Once you break through the game’s challenging outer shell, at its juicy core you’ll be rewarded one of the strangest and most engrossing experiences on PS4.

For those of you who were expecting anything different, you might be a little disappointed. This is a true successor to the Souls franchise. If you've played those games before then you'll feel right at home in Bloodborne. The big difference with this new next gen take on the Dark Souls is its faster and more offensively driven combat system. No longer can you hide beneathe heavy armor and a shield. In fact, there is only one shield in the game and it is pretty much just a joke item that the developers put in the game just to be witty. In this Souls game, you are walking around with a gun in one hand and a melee weapon in the other. It changes the feel of the combat it makes it a lot faster paced. It just feels great! Veterans of the Souls series will find tons to love in Bloodborne but I don't expect this game to change anyone's mind if they didn't enjoy the rest of the Souls series.

This game is very HARD, but REWARDING! You will drop a minimum of 50 hours into this thrilling and exciting adventure. This takes me back to the NES games where titles were brutally hard and made you feel so good when you completed missions! BUY THIS GAME!!!!

The difficulty of the game is very high. Not recommended for initial and casual gamers . Veterans and old school players will love it. It is a masterpiece today, wronged among so many easy games , that at least test their skills.

All I can say is that I can't stop playing and the game is truly addictive. Extremely difficult to master but I keep on logging hours to improve. Best buy with it's competitive buying policy is great and always willing to return to get the best games out...

I've been dying to play this game as I loved the Dark Souls series as well. It has the same grittiness and difficult as the other games but with a new story and gameplay features that make this game unique. The graphics are beautiful and eerie as ever!

Its more fast paced than the previous entries, but the game is beautiful and as challenging as ever. The game is set largely in the gothic world of Yharnam. Multi-player is hard to figure out at first, but theres plenty of info online. 5/5 would play again

I thoroughly enjoyed this game from beginning to end, especially the Lovecraftian horrors that come into play as you get deeper into the game. It can be challenging at times, but isincredibly rewarding when you do topple whatever is halting your progress.

This game has been a blast to play. It's scary so it's best played during the night time. Along with being fun it's a fairly lengthy game. I have already been playing for about 15 hours and there is still a lot left to do. I highly recommend it.

The satisfaction of beating the first boss was incredible. However, as an adult gamer I don't have the time necessary to invest in a game like this. It is without a doubt an extremely well executed game and technically sound game but if you game in short bursts every few days it's likely not the best title for you.

If you're in the market for a great game with a budget price, this should be at the top of your list. It's even cheaper with Gamer's Club (WORTH IT)! The game still looks awesome, combat rocks, and it has imaginative boss designs.

This game is really amazing. The graphics were great, the detail is great and it makes you feel something for the characters of the game and it's story. I can't wait for a sequel of this game, if there is a sequel to the game that is.

An amazing new game that builds on the legacy of the Demon and Dark Souls series for a new generation of hardware. New game play builds on the solid systems of those games, while creating a whole new setting and new ways to explore it. Highly recommended.

Bought another copy of bloodborne after giving my old one to my brother. It's a Great game and replaying it with multiple new game plus difficulty spikes makes it more fun.

I had a blast playing this game but be warned, this game can very challenging and frustrating at first if new to the series. Enemies Always respawn after death and co op isn't available from the beginning. Lastly, if playing co op, be prepared to defend yourself against the occasional player controlled invader.

This happens to be one of the better game on the PS4. If you are a fan of Demon's Soul or Dark Soul, you will enjoy this time. I highly recommended this game if you are looking for challenge.

This game takes the best of Demon's souls and Dark souls and combines them in an atmospheric setting that changes as you progress through the game. The combat is satisfying, though the online can be decent to terrible depending on the server you choose.

I succumbed to the hype and tried this game; I made a mistake. I found the controls and gameplay frustrating. I am admittedly an older gamer, I started with Pong and Space Invaders, so I frequently lack the patience I possessed when I was much younger. I found the atmosphere somewhat interesting, but I couldn't stand the COMPLETELY SADISTIC and mind numbing gameplay. I don't need a thoroughly RAGE-INDUCING experience in my limited free time. If you love this game, enjoy! This isn't a game for me. I sold my copy 1 week after release. On the bright side, I was able to get all that I paid for this game back, plus a few dollars more.
