I have not started playing Bloodborne (or any other souls-like game in general) quite yet but when I do, I will be looking forward to breaking my ps4 controller!

Finally decided to give this a try and everyone told me I should. Found out...it's not really for me. Probably easier to get into than Dark Souls. But the entire game is still about repetition and learning cove. Not exciting. Gorgeous game though, and I know the people who love it absolutely love it.

I don't usually go for punishing games. I'm just not "hardcore" enough. And I've never played another "souls" game. But this game is great. The character creator is absurd (watch the Monster Factory on it), and the game is difficult, sort-of HP Lovecraft inspired, and fun.

Buying this as a gift for a friend. Great game. I've spent tons of time exploring the game. Super challenging and rewarding. Was sharing with my friend how great it was and decided to buy it for them so they could experience it too.

I had never played a Dark Souls game, but was intrigued by all of the glowing press for Bloodborne. During my time playing the game, it appeared very well done and very atmospheric. Bloodborne is a game that just isn't for everyone, and I can appreciate the quality of the game and realize it just isn't for me.

This game is a different kind of game. it does spoon feed anything. The more you play the better you get the more you learn of the world and play style. Fun when it clicks.

Be ready to die a lot and keep playing over and over. If you do not like to be really challenged and are used to video games that just give things to you and you can turn down the difficulty settings to easy it's probably not for you.

If you're a fan of Demon/Dark Souls, you better strap on your big-boy pants, because this is a humdinger of a game. It's extremely difficult, yet, I can't put it down...probably one of the highlights of the PS4 for me so far. NOT for the casual gamer.

It's a great game. I had never before played any Souls type games (from software), but because of Bloodborne, i bought the Dark Souls Trilogy on PC. Bloodborne is now on my top games, i have the Platinum Trophy already.

From Software ups the anty in their departure from the Souls franchise. Awaken in this nightmare to find out who and where you are. Are you the monster or the hero? Great game to jump into if you're a veteran or brand new to anything From Software.

This is a great game. They took a lot of what is best of both the souls series and put it here with a few tweaks which at first are going to mess with you, but once you get the hang of it is much more fylun (Shields or lack of). Tons of replayability.

This game may not be for everyone. Certainly the game is not forgiving but if you find that you enjoy the deliberate combat you will not regret purchasing this game. Its combat is faster than the Dark Souls games but both series are great.

If you are just a casual gamer, then this might not be for you. But if you are down to challenge yourself and analyze and carefully plan out your fights, then this is the game for you. Not as much customization as I thought, but still a very fun game.

This game is a masterpiece and it became my favorite game of all time. The world is breathtaking with its gothic and victorian architecture and its atmosphere. This game is challenging but its barrier to entry is easy. I would recommend this game to anyone who is wanting to try a souls game for the first time.

The combat is fast and visceral. The environments are gorgeous and ingeniously designed. And, most of all, that signature pull that the Souls Series has had on gamers still remains. This is a must-have game for PS4... if you're up for the challenge.

I almost gave up on this game but I'm glad I stuck with it. It is a little daunting at first and it can get a little frustrating having to go through the same areas and enemies after dying but the combat is so great and satisfying that it feels amazing when you do get past an area that you couldn't before.

Demons Souls fans eat your heart out. This game is that plus more! Tons of gore and the gameplay that hardcore gamers crave for. It's a game that will test your will to keep coming back but rewards you after each boss you battle. Highly Recommended!

i keep trying to play this game. It is very good but super hard. And it's mostly just killing so far. Not much story. Looks amazing and responds well. But very hard and not necessarily compelling if you want a good story along with your violence.

This game is awesome and challenging. You will die like literally every 10 minutes if your skill levels is not that great. But don't give up its fun and keeps you learning ways to progress through the story. Combat and leveling system is fantastic!

This is an incredibly well made game. However, if you are not up for a challenge, frequent deaths that set you back a significant ways, little to no direction and challenging enemies from the start, this may not be the game for you. If you like a challenge, the game has great pay-offs and is a ton of fun.
