this game really reminds me of the netflix show Castlevania in that you're on an adventure fighitng a lot of monsters. I love that show and this game is fun too! Warren Ellis would be so proud to see his work inspire games like this!

I’m a HUGE Castlevania fan and SotN and Dawn of Sorrow are among my favorites. Koji Igarashi has taken the best bits from his previous games (with great vibes from the 2 aforementioned titles) and created a wonderful new experience. Highly recommend!

I've been wanting a good Castlevania game for years, and when Konami decided they didn't want to make one, someone else did. Just getting started on it but I have a feeling that I'll be making multiple playthroughs while I wait for the next one. Kudos!

I have more than 30 hours in this game, and it is fantastic. Works well in portable mode. It may not run as well as the Xbox or PS4 versions, but my entire experience has been portable on the Switch, and I've had almost no issues. Excellent Game!

From the creative minds that brought you many of the most beloved titles in the Castlevania series, comes Bloodstained, a game that strongly harkins back to Castlevania sSymphony of the Night. if you already like that classic game, you can stop reading and go buy now you won't be disappointed, but for the rest of you please continue on. Bloodstained is 2.5 Metroidvania game form some of the best that have ever worked on the genre georgous graphically and tight controlling to boot, as you hack and slash your way through several towns and a large castle filled with the denizens of darkness and hidden secrets to bring an end to friend that is seemingly lost his mind, this game does have some adult themes so younger audiences may want to avoid, but I'm 50+ hours in and loving every minute of it. If you own a switch, this one is a can not miss

A must have for any fan of the metroidvania genre, but it does have some frame rate issues a couple of hours into the game

I am a huge fan of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and this game is the unofficial spiritual sequel. Great play mechanics, throwback graphics, and tons of exploration in old-school 2D....awesome game and my favorite in years, since Rogue Legacy.

Excellent platformer. If you liked the Castlevania games this one is for you. Lots of fun and re-play value to be had. Only issue I have with it is that it will occasionally crash your switch and will need to re-boot. Save often.

This is a great game, but it needs a few updates to fix some problems on the Switch. It doesn't run as well as it should.

This game is amazingly fun. It brings back all the action and adventure that the Playstation Castlevania Symphony of the Night did when it came out in the 1990's. This is a must have for any Nintendo Switch owner. A true classic in the making.

It is a good game, but I notice some lagging sometimes. I am not sure if it needs some patches, but it is entertaining.

No lag or frame rate issues so far, game plays pretty smoothly about 8-10 hours in. Very fun, enjoying it immensely.

With problems (that will hopefully be addressed soon with a patch or two) this game is still worth buying and playing.

This game was very buggy upon release. But they have basically fixed all the issues and it is great. If you like Castlevania: Symphony of the Night or any of the classic GameBoy Advance Castlevania games - this is a must.

When this first released, it had numerous issues, from frame drips to blurry visuals. Nowadays, the devs have put in work to make it better and it shows. It's very enjoyable, just like old school Castlevania games.
