    This was a good game. The wait for the release was worth it. Be wary of the switch version though. At release, it had many problems.

    I didn't play much of this game as it does not run properly. There is a lot of lag and frame rate issues. The developers said they are releasing a patch which was announced months ago but no date has been given. It might be good when they fix the game but until then, wait.

    Even with the pedigree of the father of Castlevania behind it, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night isn't nearly as inventive or engaging as those classics on the NES and SNES. Even the 8-bit prequel to Bloodstained delivers more engagement. There are also bugs that make it impossible to upgrade as much as you should be able to. If you need something to play, and are out of all other Switch games, Bloodstained might be worth a shot.

    Game is awesome on other systems. It is severely downgraded and glitchy on the switch. I got to the end of the first level only to have it freeze on me and I had to start over. Not only that but the publisher has updated the game to make shards less powerful which is annoying. Id say wait for it to come out in the bargain bin

    This is a great game for fans of Castlevania type games but in it's current state it's definitely an unpolished gem. Hopefully patches will improve the situation.

    The content of the game is fully playable on Switch and you will have a good time. However this version has frame drops that make the game slow. Being on a less powerful system the game doesn’t look as graphically pleasing as other versions. The game is good and solid by by far the weakest version however the creators have said they intend to fix some of what lacks by patching the game later on.
