its an ok game. the switch has a tough time handling it at some points throughout the game

Fun game to play if you like these types of games. I would wait for a sale though instead of full price.

A little disappointed but it’s fun overall. Should have went with the PS4 version. Waiting on patches now

After reading the reviews online, I was scared. While it is playable on the switch if you have only that option, compared to the PS4/Xbox/PC version this is the supremely inferior version. Textures are very dull and many of the "effects" have been taken out. The team say they are fixing it through patches.... but I personally returned mine and bought the PS4 Version

Get this for the PS4 or Steam because the game looks ugly on the switch. Other than that, the game is very similar to other Castlevania games.

Defintely a game for a castlevania SOTN fan. It has latency when there is a lot on the screen. If you dont want that, get it for the ps4

Great variety of specialized offensive attacks combined with a large inventory of weapons. Highly recommend this alchemy themed adventure.

Framerate issues and bugs keep it from being quite as good as it is on other platforms.

To be honest I haven’t delved too deep into the game. I heard it had some issues for other people but I haven’t noticed anything yet.

If you don’t care that this is a slightly downgraded version compared to the PS4/Xbox One then don’t sweat it and pick this game up

This version is portable but comes at the cost of half the frame rate as the other platforms.

Very fun, challenging, and action filled game. First time I've played a game from this series and highly recommend it.

I like the metroidvania style of play, this sometimes fails a bit I hope they can fix the errors it has later

I loved playing this game but the problem is the switch version struggles to run it. The load times can be REALLY bad and the game slows down to a crawl in certain sections. It's playable but barely. I am not sure if it will ever be patched or if its even possible. I'd say unless you really enjoy portable gaming then buy it on xbox.

I was really looking forward to this game and especially being able to play this game in handheld mode. It has turned out so far to be a significant disappointment. It feels like the switch conversion was not handled well. I'm hoping for a patch to make the game run more smoothly, but for now I'm going to put this game aside.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is a great game that is in need of some serious updates. There are glaring performance issues dealing with input lag and graphical fidelity. The game is still playable, but wait for the upcoming patch later this year in order to get a much better experience or buy it on PS4/X1/PC.

This was suppose to be a castlevania clone. It’s not as good as that franchise but it’s not bad either.

Now that the game has received a much-needed patch, the game looks and runs better. Not bad in handheld mode.
