What a great return of a Igavania! Although the framerate and graphical clarity is not as great on the switch vs PS4 \ PC versions, the switch version still holds up well and it's great to be able to play on the go. Highly recommend if you are a fan of Metroidvanias!

It’s an excellent game specially if your a castlevania fan. It’s has some issue on the Switch but it will get patched. Just be patient. It’s definitely worth the purchase.

I have the PS4 version as well. The game itself is fantastic. One of the best I have played in years. The Switch version unfortunately suffers from performance issues.

A fantastic metroidvania game. If you liked the old Castlevania games, you'll like this one. Sure the Switch version doesn't look as great, but it's the Switch.

Game is ok but it doesn’t compare with other versions(Xbox,ps4) this version has broken issue that will be fixed over patches would get it on Xbox than the switched

This is everything I wanted from the genre. The music, gameplay everything oozes of Iga charm. He is one man I know won't dissapoint when it comes to these games. It left me in awe and I honestly want more from this series now. If you want more Castlevania like games make sure you check this out.

It reminds me of Castlevania, which I am a big fan. Beautiful graphics, though the controls could be a bit smoother. Other than that an all around fun game.

This is a fun game, though I think Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon was better overall. This is still a fun game and it's worth owning both Bloodstained games.

As a fan of the old Castlevania series, this is a great spiritual successor to that series. If you enjoy those games, you’ll enjoy this game as well.

From what I remember this game was made by the same guy that did Castlevania Symphony of the Night and some of the Game Boy Advance Castlevanias and he combined elements are all three types of Castlevania games into one game and this is the next best thing to Symphony of the Night.

Game is awesome. Many flaws makes it almost unplayable. I'd say great collectables, including the steel case. Once patched and fixed, game will be great.

I really wanted to give 4 starts to this one but the only thing that killed is the paste. I need to keep playing to see if my option change but so far it is a 3. Now the updates make this game way better and playable. I took my time to get this game due to this and I'm glad that I waited. If all the issues at the beginning never got fixed this one would be a pass. Now it really deserves a try. At the end I hope the game changes my mind for a 4 stars.

Bloodstained Ritual of the Night is a very good game. However, on the Switch it stumbles a little bit. It's still playable, but not as polished or solid as the XB1 or PS4 versions. The developer says a patch to fix the major issues is incoming (and is actually available now), but it should have been right from day one. Ritual of the Night is still worth picking up, but if you have one if the other platforms it appears on you may want to look there.

Bloodstained is made by the man who directed Castlevania Symphony of the Night, giving fans a classic Castlevania style game that Konami never will.

There’s too much bug and lag. Frame rate is low compare to console but they are currently fixing with updates.

Wow what a game!. Purchased this on switch, And glad I did not get it for a PC or some other system. Bloodstained is designed in light of the platform as of years gone by, it is perfect for the Nintendo switch as the portability and overall fun factor and make it a great choice.

This game is a classic and will take a few hours to beat it 100 percent. I love the fact that you can play it on the game and the graphics are good.

Bloodstained is an excellent side scrolling action game brought to us by Koji Igarashi, a man who revitalized the Castlevania name and created some of the best side scrolling action games in the past. If you’re a fan of the genre, it’s a must have!

I was born in the 80s and grew up in the 90s this game is a modern day Castlevania literally because it’s the same producer game designer this game is very difficult even on normal setting this is definitely a purchase worth buying. This is a gamer’s dream come true.

If you loved playing Castlevania Symphony of the Night, or similar games for the GBA, this is the perfect game to jump onto.
