It's a good, not perfect game. If you can get it on sale for 30 or less it's worth the buy, otherwise I'd skip out. Also, avoid the Switch version.

Reminds me of Castlevania you won't be disappointed. Got this on sale however took a loss on the steelcase. Hoping to find that soon.

Castlevania symphony of the night is a great game and if you liked that this is you’re cup of tea

it brings back memorys of playing the classic castlevania games. If you liked them you will not be dissappointed.

Obviously a spiritual sequel to SoTN, it’s a good game. It’s on the easy side though and could have used better bosses.

If you loved Castlevania Symphony of the Night or any of their modern counterparts like Hollow Knight, Dead Cells, Messenger then this game is a must have. The PS4 is also the version to get if you want to have the highest graphics fidelity and gameplay experience.

You'll most likely need a online guide for parts you get stuck in. It's fun but also boring during the grinding parts

Castlevaniaish game. Closest thing we have to another Belmont game, took forever to be released but very enjoyable

If you have been hankering for some 2d action, Bloodstained is right up your alley. Classic metroidvania gameplay.

Koji Igarashi has more than delivered on his spiritual successor to Castlevania. The story is just enough to kick of the game without being too much. The controls are responsive and familiar enough for any who had played similar titles. Great music, interesting locations, solid gameplay. The only gripe I have is the game isn't well optimized and sometimes you will experience slowdown and laggy loading. A minor issue in an otherwise great title.

I was always interested in the castlevania game and since the colliton is not out this should pass the time

Words can’t truly describe how wonderful this game is. If you ever enjoyed Symphony of the Night or any of the GBA or DS Castlevania games you owe it to yourself to get this. Koji Igarashi delivered on almost all fronts with this metroidvania.

Pretty good game. A lot like SOTN and has nice graphics. Good length as well.

Any fan of the legendary Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and its many Nintendo portable iterations will absolutely worship this title. Stunning art and music design accompany an extensive exploratory adventure. An absolute must!

This game is pretty great and addicting! Lengthy and well polished! The only complain I have is the graphics don’t look so good, but its the engine they used and not to mention it’s was a kickstarter. Still definitely worth it

probably one of the best metroidvania games out. great level design and map similar to SOTN, many different weapons and enemy types, and also ability to customize some parts of your character. definitely recommended.

Game is really fun to play. I usually don't replay games but I started on a second run with this right away. The RPG leveling up and simple platforming and exploration is out of another time. And that's for the better here. They're still adding content, but the base game is where the meat of the experience is. Has some jank to it, but very good Metroidvania.

So I may just not like metroidvania games, but this one was pretty basic. The artstyle is amazing, and drew me in, but overall the game is kind of generic. I get bored quick with all these types of games. If you're a fan of the genre then yeah this will be a pretty decent game, but not the best.

This is a no brainer. It looks good, plays great and feels exactly like Castlevania.
