Terrible phone
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the worst phone I've ever owned. It's ok for a couple months but it has so many issues. Mine is almost unusable. I definitely wouldn't buy this. Biggest waste of money.

Wow better than expected
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off, I am big into technology and am one of those people that switch phones every few months(my wife hates me lmao). My last few phones the last couple years was the a HTC 10, Google pixel XL, Blackberry Priv, LG G6, Galaxy S8+S9. I've only had top of the line flagship phones but my time with contracts and Verizon was done. I needed an unlocked phone because I wanted to try ATT prepaid out and I came upon this BLU phone, a company that I've always wanted to try. For $250 I said why not. First time unboxing it and wow was I impressed with build quality. Feels like any recent flagship that's out right now. Screen is actually pretty decent for 1080p, battery life is amazing(6.5 to 7 hours screen on time with medium usage), and it rarely lags! I am impressed with mediatek. Nova launcher is a must though, the stock skin is terrible. Also camera is great with enough light, but one of the worst I've seen when you are inside in a dimly lit room. Video recording isn't the best either, and selfie cam is decent. Portrait mode works pretty good too! The 4 stars is due to the camera because everything else is pretty much perfect on the phone. Love the 2 cases it comes with an an additional screen protector. Oh yeah btw when u take the factory sticker off watch out for the pre installed screen protector...

BLU made a big comeback!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first BLU phone in a couple years, and wow! BLU really stepped up their game big time! I absolutely LOVE my phone. The only thing I don't like is that with it being a best buy exclusive model with the 64 gig model, there are ads that pop up all the time. Mostly slot game ads but sometimes wish ads pop up too. I wish there was a way to disable them but there isn't since it's a best buy exclusive phone. BLU used to do that with their Amazon exclusive phones and they did it to this one too. Almost every time I open a game or email or text, I get an ad. But other than that, this phone is a beast. Much faster than the S8 I gave my dad. Yeah, you read that right. This is the fastest phone I've ever had. 4 gigs of RAM and 64 gigs of storage with a 2 GHz octa core processor make this thing super fast. Mediatek processors sucked back in the day but the new Helio processors that Mediatek make are a beast. Super reliable. I think they are just as fast, if not faster, than Snapdragon processors. Even my Ticwatch E smart watch has a Mediatek processor in it and it's very fast and reliable. This phone also has a full HD+ screen which is nice. 1440P drains your battery too quick. The battery in this phone lasts all day for me. I average 4 hours screen on time with the battery being at 100% down to 20%. Not too bad. The battery is 3,050mah so not huge and not tiny either. I do wish it had a 4,000mah battery but it does fine with what it has. I will update this review as time goes on. I have had this phone since Nov. 17 and it's now Dec. 6 and I've had zero issues except the ads but that's not so much of an issue as it is a nuisance. So if you don't mind ads, I'd definitely get this phone at this price.

Don't be afraid
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.$800 for a Galaxy? $1k for an iPhone? I don't think so. Luckily I got this Blu phone for $199. 6.2" screen, 64gb and can add 128gb sd card, nice cameras, wireless charging and it works with Verizon 4g network extender. Oh yeah I'm happy. Get one.

Great phone!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone is great for the price! Wireless charging, 4 gigs of ram, 64 gigs of memory, real 3D face scanning, a guaranteed update to android pie & way more for under $300? Thats a steal! Only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because the lack of a headphone jack (it comes with an adapter so no big deal) , no NFC & it takes so long to dial someone for some reason (an update should fix the problem) but other then that, this phone is amazing & i would recommend it to anyone!

Love this phone.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this phone at the Best Buy store in Stratford CT 4 days ago because my old Xperia xz kicked the bucket, and I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a phone. I consider myself a regular phone user, I don't do crazy heavy gaming or anything that needs a ton of processing power, so I figured this phone would be enough for my needs. I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised. The screen is beautiful, it's a little on the cool side and kind of over saturated a bit, but I don't think is anything too bad, the phone feels very snappy and the camera works better than my old phone did. The speakers are also louder and more clear. Call quality and signal is good too, and I love the face ID. It works very well. I just hope it will last me a few years, and hopefully Blu will give us that pie update they promised.
