I wanted to love this mic. It was an upgrade for me because I had never used a microphone beyond the build-ins of my webcam or computer before, so it was definitely a step up from that... However, this mic has many hurdles for podcasting, and course instruction. My recommendation: PODCASTING: No - Too tiny and sensitive to other noises ONLINE STREAMING: No - Again, cardioid mic has too broad of a pickup ZOOM CONFERENCING: Ok. Unless you are recording, then don't expect a professional mic sounding return. COURSE FILMING: No - Same reasoning, not professional VOICE NARRATION: Yes - But only in a sound booth, or a clothe's filled closet to drown out all other noise.

Overall the sound quality is pretty good. Few complaints.

I bought two, a black and a blue. They look cool in my law offices where one is for my "clean room" where my client sits with germ resistant glass wall of separation. This big mike seems to relax my law clients better than snippy little microphone.

It really works out for my son. He uses it for his game and he can move in any places where he play his game. He really Loved it. You can move it in any where you want it.

Its one of the best affordable mics out there. Its very easy to set up and love the different pick-up patterns at the switch of the knob

This has been my favorite mic I’ve owned in a while. Personally haven’t experienced a single issue with it. Once you tweak the settings to your liking your good to go! Also comes with a HUGE cable so you will be able to reach it a very long distance!!

Noi major issues with this devices. Works well, Folks hear me well no matter if VOIP and normal Telco service.

The quality is great as far as the build (its solid) no complaints there. My disappointment is that it seems to need headphones to work.

I’ve given yeti a fair shot for having this mic for 4 months and can write an honest review of my experience. For someone who lounges around and talks with people online or likes to podcast look no further than the blue yeti. A microphone that has great quality and can pick up sound from a great range. However this is where I must end the positives about this product. It’s over sensitivity is a major flaw for gamers. Like myself who prides on his mechanical keyboard this mic will literally pick up every click and clack from your computer as well as unnecessary background noise. However if you lower the sensitive of the mic then the microphone just ceases to work. It’ll cut in and out and just create a miserable experience. For you who are looking to podcast look no further, for those of you about to game look elsewhere.

This is my second yeti after my old one finally died after 10 years. Setting up filters works wonders for this thing!

While providing a class demonstration I utilized the microphone. That class consisted of 20 students in the 2nd grade. I really didn't need the speaker but it worked well the times that I did. Best buy allows me to shop for all brands of the items I try to find - this was a good find.

Not hard to do, but the blue gives far better depth and directionality than a standard laptop microphone.

Started streaming a little bit in my free time and this was absolutely perfect paired with the C922 webcam. Stream goes strong while being able to communicate properly with my team in Siege or Call of Duty has made this microphone definitely worth it!

Was a present for my boyfriends birthday. He loves it because he downloaded the software made for it on his computer and he freaks his friends out when he changes what it sounds like.

This is a great for a beginner simple plug and play. Plus they were just purchased by logitech as well.

The audio is very crisp. The microphone picks up audio very well

Overall, the mic has performed well. Would recommend if you need a good mic.
