    I'm no expert in microphones. I've been starting to take on a hobby of podcasting and youtube, and I think this a great start. Sound quality appears excellent. One drawback is that I find it difficult to re attach the mic to base if you decide to carry the mic around.

    Bought this thinking that it would cut down on background noises, but was surprised that it picks up everything....need some form of barrier for undesired background.
