I stream via Twitch, have a few youtube uploads, and was researching a good quality mic to improve the audio quality of my voice during streams as well as in COMMS. I am hobbyist level in this department. This product fulfills that through its ease of use, affordability, and its quality. It is extremely good. I wasn't looking into spending hundreds of more dollars into audio quality that usually will not be detected by average listeners. I have done work in audio engineering and can attest that for the money this is a fine addition to the purpose I use this for. Otherwise, honestly speaking, one will find themselves spending hundreds more for audio equipment that the listener may never hear unless they themselves (the listener) have spent a similar amount in headphones and speakers to even pick up all the nuances in the sound....think about it....now stop being foolish and just start with this, it may be all you will ever need!

I bought this may 5th because i was hosting a wedding shower on june 5th on zoom... and when i used it it wasnt working!! I am returning this

This is the 2nd yeti microphone that the charging port just stopped working after less than 2 months. Gentle use. These people need to manufacture better.

Wire already broke this mic is not good if you are trying to stream is jusy breaks

Bought open-box and says complete accessories in excellent condition. Open and unable to use. Incomplete accessories. Went back to return

I purchased this to record an endless loop featuring the products I represent. I wanted the recording to sound near professional quality. I used this Yeti microphone (along with a pop filter) and was pleasantly surprised at how well the project turned out. It maybe more money than some of the cheap microphones out there...but it's also a lot less money than others! One of the few products that I have purchased recently that was better than expected. Buy this microphone...you won't be sorry.

USB Jack failed within 90 days. Customer support very difficult to deal with and was no help!

I didn’t even use it and the first time I want to use it it doesn’t work?

As a beginner in the YouTube and Twitch aspects of the internet, I have tried many different audio options, ranging from headset mics, to some other external mics. I was using a Samson Meteor Mic previously to the Yeti, and there is one huge difference. With the yeti, I feel like I can get closer to the mic without it peaking at high decibel levels, like my older microphone. The Yeti is an excellent choice for beginners and even advanced users. It also may seem daunting at the price of over $100 but I assure the extra is worth it. This mic is on par with some $300 and up mics, so it is definitely something I would recommend. The only way to make this mic better for me is to buy a mixamp, but even without it, the mic is still one of the best audio devices for my voice that I have ever used.

Picks up any kinda sound and is inconsistent with its sound waves. Should only be used for podcast nothing musically. Will be returning

I use this to record th3 8 strummer, not improve at all...catch lots noice,,,disappointment!

Said two day shipping, got it in 4 days. It also didn't work. The USB jack was already broken, so I just returned it.

This is a fantastic mic. The sound quality you get from this monster is just beautiful. But the drawback is that it picks up the tiniest sound. I live in an apartment on the 8th floor with horrible sound insulation. The mic pics up conversation from a couple arguing outside through a screen door, through a closed window, many floors down. If a brush my foot against the floor, I can hear it with this mic. Yes I had the gain turned down really low. Also you really need a good set of headphones to go with this mic. The knobs on this device are really not-so-good. Some feel solid, but some other wiggle a bit. It really feels like they might fall off if you put to much force on them. Lastly this thing is huge...

I just bought the blue yeti mic and used it today to record some vocals, and guitar. The sound that comes from the mic a lot better then the set up i had before, i researched online for weeks to find the best USB mic out there and I think i found it. I'm using this mic primarily for youtube videos and recording music. The only bad thing i have to say about the yeti is that it picks up everything, from the smallest tap or cars driving by my house. I live next the the freeway so it picks up the noise from the cars... It has a lot of features and a stable stand that would last forever. Overall i'm very happy with the mic and its performance, i would recommend this mic to anyone that wants upgrade their mic and have better audio for their videos and music.

This microphone broke within one week of purchasing! Do not waste your money!!!
