The Blue Yeti X has been a solid purchase! Unfortunately I had bought the older Yeti microphone on accident. Luckily BestBuy has a super easy return/exchange policy so when I went back to the store I was in and out the door in 5 minutes. The Yeti X itself is magnificent, LGHub (Software) is a little bare bones but when you pair the microphone with an audio mixer/interface product/software so this is no biggie. I personally haven’t had any problems with mine it’s been pretty smooth for streaming and gaming.

Not a lightweight mic and has premier sound quality with the ability to determine sound coming from the front or back of the mic. Easy to transport between two computers. Great for podcasting!

So glad I chose this mic....it's a beast! Great sound, very well constructed, excellent features and about as cool looking as a mic can get. I use it for voice-over work on my video tutorials and it has a really great sound before even using any effects in my software. If you're on the fence....get off and get this microphone!!!

If you're a professional then you'll be pickier; however if you're just a streamer or someone who wants to play around with basic recording, I think this mic is great. The headphone plug in for real-time mic sounds through headphones works beat my expectations. The simple USB plug-and-play was also quite convenient. The stand and mic are quite large, so it's good to plan for a large space on your desk; however I am not subtracting stars because competing products are of comparable size but with less aftermarket products to mount them. The sound quality itself is excellent. There are better mics but they will cost significantly more. Do read the owner's manual, as it has a lot of pointers on using the mic and your sound quality will suffer if you pick your settings incorrectly. Additionally, note (as the owner's manual will tell you) that the microphones are actually on the *side*, not the top of the mic as you might expect. This is a rare item that I would regard as having no flaws. I even like the fit and finish, which I'm typically quite picky about (see my Arris surfboard review).

Although fairly large in size, the quality of the product is evident. Large selection of settings.

I started my own Youtube channel and the audio quality is amazing. I'm using an open area and the only thing I have to do is a little bit of noise reduction. If you use this microphone in a close room you are going to be very happy with the results.

I read about mikes a lot, and this one was recommended to me (a beginner) by someone in the business. Good sound quality and I like that it has a good name behind it. Love the design. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a mike for home use.

After doing much research for the best USB mic, I pulled the trigger with the yeti. I was not disappointed at all. This is probably the best external accessory I've ever owned. I plan on doing a little podcasting and this mic sounds really good. More quality than I think I'll actually need. Buy it. Now.

Had this mic once before in black but had to return it because I lived with others and it picked up the background. Now that I live alone it is a great choice. Got it on sale too, in blue.
