I make youtube videos and before buying this I would use my iPhone to record myself narrating. I decided to go and get something with better sound quality. I decided on this microphone based on the reviews I saw here. It. Is. Amazing. For the price, the quality and sound can't be beaten.

The absolute BEST starter streaming mic I ever had. I currently have a rode podmic now and after I took this yeti down I started to feel bad as if I lost a friend lol. This thing did me justice. If you need a USB mic then this is the way to go for streaming. To be honest you can save around 40 - 50 bucks and get a better CONDENSOR mic such as the rode podmic for 99.00. But that is for people that have the equipment or mixers to hook it up to such as a goxlr. If you don't have any of that like I once did, then do not hesitate. There are plenty of people that stick to this mic FOREVER and they sound great. The mic also has good weight to it and you can tell it will not malfunction easy. Awesome mic. I still keep mine like im going to use it everyday lol

I use this mic for YouTube and it is CRISP. One of the best you can get in my opinion. Highly recommended!

people tell me it doesnt sound that good but its been fine i guess other than that

I had been using the Blue Snowball for recording MP4 training videos for a year, and decided to make a move upward in recording quality. I was pleasantly surprised at the increase in quality produced by the Yeti and would recommend it to anyone. The only complaint I have is that the selector switch on the back of the microphone is stiff...difficult to move from one setting to another.

Everything is good. 1. Easy to setup 2. Looks nice 3. Could be smaller 4. Seems need more computation resource.

Clear, crisp quality. Bonus: it blocks out most of my 3 dogs barking! Easy to follow directions.

This microphone is easy to use with it's USB chord and it's very clear. I use this for streaming, YouTube videos, and video chatting- it's my go-to! I just have it plugged it at all times. The only down side is that if you don't have a cover, it picks up background noise pretty clearly as well.

Great bang for your buck. This is currently on sale for $30 cheaper than I got it, but I'm not mad at all at the price point of $130. This is quite likely the best usb microphone out there.

I bought this mic originally about 4 years ago, well i got a little stressed of money and sold it to a friend...so I then bought it again! Great all around mic, directions inside the box are very thorough, even tells you which mode is for what kind of use. and always very clear!

I've owned higher end mics like the Shure SM7B and the only major differences I notice between this mic and a $700+ set up is that I have to do more in post editing to cut out the background noises - mind you, I record next to a window in a room that is not treated for sound. Once you add a noise gate, the sound this mic produces isn't too far off from what you'd get with a more professional set up. It doesn't make higher end mics obsolete but it will certainly satisfy you until you decided to move on to something that requires less tweaking.

I ordered this Mic due to having a plethora of meetings with my company CFO and the Mic is so clean and crisp. I cannot wait to talk at meetings just to hear myself talk. The one complaint I will add is that it will pick up all sounds in the house. I can hear my dogs claws clicking on my hardwood floors but I do not think the person hearing your audio can hear it so do not let my complaint discourage this purchase!

Excellent mic. I use the mic for dictating medical reports and our transcription staff noticed the difference in quality immediately. They requested that we acquire additional mic's for the other physicians in our practice.

overall this mic is a very good condenser microphone on a pc with the right settings but I returned mine because I was looking for a mic for console streaming and you can’t really change any of the software on the PlayStation and the default settings on the mic aren’t the best and the mic is really sensitive so it picks up a lot of background noise, you can’t speak too loudly when you’re close to the mic because it cracks and pops (clips) even with the gain set to the lowest and the lowest microphone setting on PlayStation is still clips when speak to close to the mic. if you’re planning on getting a mic for the PlayStation 5 I would recommend getting a dynamic mic.

I bought this microphone to use specifically with my smartphone (Note5). It requires an adapter, of course (microUSB to USB). The app I use is the Audio Video Recorder Pro, ver 6.0. All these elements work great together. The mic makes recordings that are far superior to the built-in Note5 mic, as one should expect. And it does, with deep lows and full-bodied sound.
