Waaaaay better than the snowball if you're on the fence about the two. This mic is awesome,looks great, and is easy to set up.

I recently started a podcast and was looking for an easy to use external microphone. The blue yeti was highly recommended and I see why. No tech issues, it's rugged, and everyone commented how great my sound was compared to others. If you are thinking about this microphone at all, just get it!

Over all no complaints this mic gets the job done! Pros: easy to use, great quality and vast options Con: the cable that came in the box was to short and the mic is sometimes the mic will pick up a bit of static.

I have been using this for a few months. It works well. Though I can't hear myself using it, people on the other end of my zoom calls tell me that it works better than the microphone on my computer. I like that it starts up automatically when I plug it into the laptop. I do not use the stand that comes with it. I use it attached to a boom that is sitting on the floor. The microphone floats above my head off to the side, out of the view of the camera.

I bought this microphone because I wanted to record my lectures and upload them for students' use. I've also used it to "re-record" content that was in "cassette" format and transferred it into digital format. It gets high marks all around. I am highly encouraged by the result, and will undertake more recordings. I almost feel like a professional!

The mic is easy to use and has some nice features. It's a little bit heavy so take that in mind when buying a stand for it. Everyone can hear me now

I bought this to do some amateur voiceover work for fun. It was on sale for a good price so I figured why not go for a brand I've heard recommended before. Though I haven't gotten to use it much because I've been busy, the times I've tested it out it worked very well. It picked up some weird buzzing when I used it to record a video last, but I've read that's a common problem that happens when you set it up wrong. I'm pretty sure it was due to user error anyway because I've been messing around trying to find the best settings and that has only happened once. I'm not sure how I'm going to get a pop filter to attach to this thing when I start making things I'd be willing to share but I'm satisfied with this purchase nonetheless.

This Blue Yeti replaced a very old Snowball mic. I am very impressed with the sound quality. There are also great options in terms of recording environment. I picked up this mic as an Open Box item. This was purchased to pick up the voices of participants in a hybrid Zoom/in-person meeting. It captures the voices of a person in the room who speaks a podium that is about 20 feet from the mic. We are satisfied with this mic. The participants on Zoom are happy with the sound that is transmitted. No music is involved, only spoken word. We are happy with this purchase.

This is a great sounded microphone. Use it for podcasts and voice over work. The best USB mic I have ever used.
