I looked online for a lot of information as these are pricey investments. The Yeti is well rated and - once you get it working - the sound quality is great. The only problem is the mic-to-usb jack isn't made for iPads as I was led to believe. In order to make this work I needed a USB-iPad connector ($20) and a powered USB port because the mic can be powered by the iPad alone ($30). So this added about $50 onto the, already high, sale price.

Very good USB microphone, but macro USB is very outdated so I'm taking a star off of the rating. I'd love to see them come out with a refresh with USB-C.

Yeti is a great product. My wife has one for her office so I got one for mine as well. It is bigger than we first imagined but very good sound quality.

This may not be the cheapest mic, but it is not the most expensive either. That being said, it performs as well as some of the most expensive mics out there. It's a little on the big side, but if you have desk space for it - GET IT!!!

I design and create eLearning from my home office and need a good microphone for recording narrations. The Yeti Blue meets all of my needs. It is plug and play with usb and simple to use with Audacity software. I would recommend that you get a pop filter to use with it. My only complaint is with shipping. They put the Yeti box (about 12” x 6” x 6”) in a shipping box way too large (24” x 18” x 18) with just a couple of air pillows. The box had gotten smashed in and the mic box was sliding around in the oversized box. Thankfully the mic wasn’t damaged, but only because Yeti had it packed well. Best Buy, remember, use the right tool (or in this case box) for the right job!

One of my first mic to use for podcast. Great starter inexpensive mic!

If you need a decent mic at a decent price this is the one. If you cannot afford this, opt for the Fifine K670, as it is just as good audio wise but doesn't have as many features as the Blue Yeti.

I was trying to find a good Mic for streaming and I was recommended the Blue Yeti. I did my research and found Blue also has the Snowball Mic that's cheaper but in this case I highly suggest shelling out the extra money to get this one!

REALLY good mic! I started using this and immediately my friends said I sound much better there isn't any game lobby where I get complimented about the sound quality OVERALL 10/10

The quality of this mic is very high for the money spent. Of the options available around this price point, the Best Buy rep I worked with was a user of the more expensive version, and advised me to go with this model. It has some extra controls that the less expensive versions don't have. I don't think I needed the higher end version for the particular voice over work this is being used for, so it was a solid choice. The first use was for a project in which the voice over was played on a high end speaker system in an auditorium. It turned out really nice, and I got positive comments on the voice over work, but I did add some use of filters and limiters in post production.

Needed to replace an old mic for my home office, and I decided to take a chance on stepping it up a notch from the basic snowball, which I've used in client offices. So glad I did. The recording is crystal clear and cut down on my editing time.

This microphone is exactly what I wanted. However only downside is there were not any instructions. Yes it is a plug and use but there was nothing inside about how to set up with my computer. But thank gosh for Geek Squad who took the time to set it up for me. Thank you!

It's been amazing so far. No problems as of yet. The Yeti uses a mini usb plugin which is far more reliable than the snowball so that is a plus. The 4 sound options and mute button are also really helpful for both general use and recording.

Very professional microphone. I've used it for all my presentations as well as music and online conversations. Does great when submitting multimedia clips.

Excellent Product, just wish Best buy gave me a brand new one versus a previously opened one and saying it was new.

Quality product! As a radio station manager, good equipment is essential. I read the prior reviews before purchasing. But using the equipment and seeing the quality sound experiences, I was sold - and perhaps, you will be too!

I purchased this microphone specifically for a guest appearance on a podcast while COVID measures were strict. Instead of going to a studio, the recording was completed with both participants being remote. The unit was easy to use, plug and play with Windows 10, and the unit allows for the configuration of several settings. This certainly would be a nice to have for many but was a need to have for the professional recordings that were being produced. I have no qualms with recommending this microphone for the customer that needs this type of equipment.

Mic works very well. Easy to use and can record with "Word" Recommend to anyone seeking a quality mic.
