This microphone has already served a great purpose. I was looking for a good mic to use as a Christmas for my younger brothers. They have ipads and they use garageband a lot! At first when i bought it, i thought i'd have to take it back to the store, until i realized that the usb plugin for computers (its a USB mic) could be converted to lightning cables with an adapter. Voila! Turns out that Best buy was also the ONLY store in a range of 10 miles that even had usb to lightning adapters! got an adapter as well the net day at the same store and went home on christmas eve very much satisfied and impressed with best buy in General.

I needed a mic with a gain. I previously had a silver version of this mic, that stopped working properly. I bought the white for a cheaper price. The gain on the mic doesn’t seem to be as good as previous mic but it will due..

Performed extremely well. Different modes is very useful. If anything it can be too sensitive picking up singing insects through closed windows, computer fan etc. Plan accordingly.

This mic is easy to use and the sound quality is awesome.

If you're going to spend the money, you'll likely find yourself wanting to spend more or wishing you got something different. Therefore 1) Consider that you may want to also get a scissor boom stand, a shock absorber, and a pop filter. 2) If you're going to end up spending that much, you may as well consider other products. 3) If you're sure that you don't want to spend a lot of money, consider a lavalier microphone. I imagine they come with fewer hidden costs and are less likely to seduce you into wanting to spend more. I got the blue yeti bundled with a Logitech camera. I've used it a few times and like it. I've bought some lavalier microphones to test out. I expect to blue yeti to resort to being a backup mic with the option to enhance it with gear in the future if I want to. But in my case I expect the lav mics to be used more due to convenience, but we'll see.

I have only had this for a short period of time but it makes all the difference in the world. Great item especially for the price point. Highly recommend it to anybody wanting or needing a microphone.

Really good sound quality and a lot of adjustability. The mic can record from both sides of the capsule at once, if so desired. Love the gain control and the individual volume adjustment for plugged in headphone audio. One of my favorite things about the mic is the dedicated, physical mute button. It's a bit bulky, so trying to figure out how to keep it from obstructing vision during gaming sessions is a little tricky, but it definitely gets the job done. FYI, the blue one is almost always 20-30 bucks cheaper. It wasn't the color I wanted, but for a lower price, I'm not complaining.

I purchased this to record voiceover for some training I was putting together and I was very happy with the quality. I did use it in a homemade sound box and the quality was great. Highly recomment.

Decent microphone for its being a lower price point. The only thing I wouldn’t liked better quality of was the swivel to adjust the mic. The knob wouldn’t stay very tight so the mic just ended up being laid flat instead of standing up or at an angle. Other than that the mic itself recorded great, good sounds quality and super easy to use and get set up to my laptop.

If you enjoy good quality item this is it. Its not overly expensive and has great sound. Only draw back is that you may need a boom arm to reduced desk noise as it is sensitive at times.

Sound is amazing - i get compliments every time i use it. but realized (didnt check online before hand) that there is an issue with the USB adapter inside being loose and causes loose connections. have to take apart and squeeze it tighter or replace it.

Great mic for all uses. I purchased this Mic for podcast recordings, as well as recording guitar. If you have the proper room set up this Mic is the one to go with. 10 out 10 would buy again.

This is the best mic I've found. I tested several, and have used many before finding this one. I use it for webinars, Podcasting and audiobook recordings. Highly recommend!

Very good quality for recording my farts I could really hear the gases leave the shoot, my butt tingled all the time I spoke.

When I first got the microphone instantly people heard the difference it might be pricy big worth every single penny.

I use this for Skype, Webex, voice overs, animation. I've tried other microphones but this one is the best. Oh by the way, did I mention I'm on international TV.

Price was great on the Mic. While not the top of the line any longer this was the industry standard for a long time for a reason. I do wish they had some sort software for finer controls.
