I got this microphone for my kids' oboe, piano and french horn classes. The sound is great, deep and clear. The reason I am not giving it 5 stars is the mini USB connector location. The way the cable need to connect creates stress on the connector which can get damaged and, as I discovered doing Google searches, is a very common problem for users. It can be avoided if you are very careful, especially if you know this could happen. The repair cost me $50 so be careful!

After research and discussion with a Best Buy employee, I went after this mic. Recording a podcast has never sounded clearer. I’ll still have to get some accessories (a pop filter) but this thing is legit ready to go out of the box.

This is mainly used by my teen for gaming and live streaming. This device may be a little sensitive to sounds of the keyboard but there are ways to prevent that. We recommend puchasing a pop filter. We prefer using this yeti microphone over our gaming headset with a microphone. The multi sounds settings is a great feature. Friends on the other end can hear a difference with this device.

Have absolutely no problems with this mic. It works like a charm and sounds wonderful. I use it to game and make content and its the best value around for the price

I love the features. I record my Saxophone and it sounds great! It is great for classes. I wouldn’t use it for professional recording, but it works great for projects and excerpts. The voice aspect is very clear and when I record YouTube videos, it is very crisp and I have recently started podcasts with it. I recommend for gaming, podcasts, recording, although I recommend for recording band instruments I’d say get one more designated for instruments.

This microphone was appealing to me because of its look and multiple settings. Unfortunately, it does easily pick up background noises though, but the sound quality is good. I would say it makes for a cool starter mic.

We gave this to our grandson for his 16th birthday. It was just what he wanted to play games with his friends via the Internet. He couldn’t have been happier. He was delighted to get a professional quality microphone.

My podcast partner and I needed an affordable and reliable mic to use on our Macbooks. It picks up sound very well, has a good weight to it so it can stand on it's own, and its visually appealing. Set up was pretty easy after watching some tutorials on youtube

For the basic music/video recorder and even the elite streamers. This product work great. Sure there is 1 or 2 products which may be 1 or 2% better. However, at that point if you are not a "professional" this is the better bang for your buck.

I bought this mic on the recommendation of multiple Youtube creators. It has great sound quality. I currently have it plugged into my PS4 and use it while streaming directly from the PS4. Great quality in my streams an videos. Just over $100 I would recommend a pop filter and possibly a boom arm. I have since purchased both and could not be happier with my setup.

The microphone looks timeless and feels great with high quality materials, can be used for anything! Gaming, music, podcasting! You name it, great buy for $100 definitely

I initially used a snowball for recording videos to post to YouTube. While that product worked well, I wish I paid the extra money initially and purchased Yeti. This product picks up more sounds and contributes to a cleaner and crisper recording.
