Those that don't know how to learn technology should not be allowed to buy or review it. This mic has several different modes and each one changes the way it records. Most people speak to the top of the Microphone which is NOT how this works. Have the blue symbol facing your lips and speak directly into the microphone at chin level. Turn on cardoid mode and if it sounds too loud turn down the mic gain and try again

With the stay at home orders given while this coronavirus pandemic is happening, I needed to step up my ability to video conference and work with colleagues. This affordable microphone has been great for those video calls online as well as creating voice notes, recording calls I've put on speakerphone and a few other use cases that I would have never thought to do with my laptop's built in mic. The 4 different modes of recording make it perfect for capturing different types of audio, whether speaking straight into it or capturing conversations in the board room.

Not kuch to say. Easy to use and works as it should. It is a little large so the smaller version may be a better buy if thats an issue but at the timeof purchase, they were the same price so i went with this one

Great condenser mic. Plug and record. It's a little difficult to attach a pop screen, but not impossible. Other than the mic being all around a good device, the customer service at bestbuy was the icing on the cake.

Quality of the microphone is good, but doesn't connect sometimes. Whenever I want to use headphones, I have to plug it into the microphone, but upon computer startup it sometimes switches to the speakers.

This mic is well worth the money. Recording quality is outstanding. I highly recommend this brand.

The quality of the audio is above average without any extra padding, sound-proofing or pop screens. It does capture a light amount of white noise. Depends on what kind of sounds you have at the location in which you’re recording. I’ve been using it for singing and asmr YouTube videos. It works pretty well for capturing soft sounds & so far has been slightly better quality than my old singing microphone. I’d suggest this microphone more for broadcasting and podcasting. However, for singing; it does get the job done and is definitely a good pick for regular audio. By regular audio, I mean videos, sounds and/or talking.

I bought this for my grandson to make movies with. He loves it and uses it all of the time.

I am very pleased with this microphone. I was using the built-in microphone on my laptop and it constantly cut out for about one minute at a time when I was on Zoom, Teams or Skype, where no one could hear me. I've had no issues at all with this microphone and cutting out is no longer a problem or worry.
