Huge difference between a headset mic and switching to this mic. People on the other end of my mic say the clarity is significantly better. Good weight to it. Unlikely to just tip over. Obviously takes space on the desk but can pick up audio from a good distance so placement is really an issue

The Blue Yeti is that mic — the OG and the icon of USB microphones. I’ve had mine for years, and it still delivers crisp, clear, professional-quality sound every single time. I did break the USB port and had to replace it, but Whether I’m recording voiceovers, podcasts, or just hopping on a Zoom call, it always makes me sound studio-ready. It’s easy to use right out of the box, feels solid and well-built, and the adjustable pickup patterns make it super versatile. There’s a reason everyone from streamers to singers has used this mic — it just works. The Blue Yeti walked so every other USB mic could run.

This mic works perfectly! I took it out of the box and skimmed the manual then plugged it in! I was recording 10 minutes after opening. I love LOVE the sound quality and the easy to understand set up/recording. Such a great mix for those who are just starting out in the recording area or for those constantly on the go. Good for anything from podcasts to concerts. This mic offers different sound settings so you can optimize whatever sound you're wanting to capture. I have had zero problems with this product so far. (I've had it for about 4 months now) I would recommend getting the warranty and a hard case if you're using it during travels.

As a hobbyist singer, I did not want to invest too much into recording hardware. After reading several reviews of many different types of microphones that were PC compatible that could run without additional hardware, I decided to try this Yeti and have fell in love with it. There are three different recording settings for Solo (front), Duet (front and back), and Band (360 degree) recording that gauge which direction(s) to record the sound for the best input quality. It also gauges the gain of input directly on the mic. With the port to plugin headphones directly into the mic allows for almost absolutely no lag in live playback where as many of the mics that I looked into purchasing relied on the recording software which could cause a noticeable lag in live playback. The recording sound quality is fantastic, more that I would have expected from a less than $150 microphone. If you are looking to purchase this mic, I do suggest going to Blue's (the manufacturer) site to learn more on the functions of this mic, they do an excellent job laying out and explaining everything about this product. I am 100% happy with this mic and would recommend this to anyone.

I was looking for a high quality USB mic that would work with my iMac and MacBook. The Yeti was receiving excellent reviews, so I decided to buy one. I play fingerstyle acoustic guitar and needed a high quality mic for recording instrumentals/videos. The Yeti is plug & play and connected to my Mac very easily. Recording videos using the Yeti produces excellent sound. It also works well with other apps such as FaceTime and Skype.

Bought it for my Child and Loves it. For the price, this microphone is very good. The quality of the sound and the features make it easy to use and affordable.

This mic was the perfect fit for my home studio. I make homemade instructional videos for guitar and bass guitar and this mic has been the right tool for the job. I plug it into my computer, place the mic in the right position (location and sound source selection) and it does the rest while recording. I highly recommend this mic for anyone else out there interested in doing the same sort of thing that I do. It's inexpensive, highly dependable and captures great sound (for digital anyway)...

Nice product, easy to use and set up. One gripe I have is that with this specific model, the port for power on this mic breaks very easily. Do not bend the cord near the port or tug very hard on it, I’ve broken so many already. Other than that, it is really easy to use.

This was very easy to install and simple to use upgrading from a headset mic to this was a good choice my voice quality has increased and the controls and alterations this microphone allow let you choose how you sound.

I bought this mic for VoiceOver work, and for a non-tech person like me, it's wonderful. It was very affordable and super easy to use. I should have bought this a long time ago. I was so impressed the first time I used it, my 10-year old son likes it so much, he tries to sneak it into his room to use it whenever he gets the chance!!! He's a total tech geek!!!!

My daughter creates her own music. Custom service guy on the floor recommended. Incredibly easy to use and not too expensive. Love it!

I purchased this microphone a few months ago and I absolutely love it! Provides great clarity for my videos. There is a little bit of a learning curve as their directions are pathetic! You will, however, learn with experience the settings that work best for your videos, etc. I wished I had purchased this mic first instead of buying a cheaper mic (Snowball) which didn't even work properly for 3 or 4 months! This is an excellent microphone with only 2 drawbacks. The sound quality is amazing, it overall a great mic. The only 2 downsides are; 1. The weight - I know the weight is a direct result of the build quality but....I wanted to use this for voiceover work and for that sort of application in my home studio I needed it to be near my computer. The weight required me to purchase a RHODE studio mic arm (great idea to pick on up the run about 100.00 usd) this in conjunction with the Blue shockmount for the Yeit are a perfect combo. 2. The stand that comes with it - The stand looks amazing however it offers no shock protection and if you're using it on the same surface your typing on expect to hear every key stroke. Overall when combined with the arm and the mount it's perfect for my uses!

As a person that’s getting back into the flow of writing music and streaming on twitch this mic was perfect for the job took a little getting used to but I like that I can mess with the settings to get it perfect

Great affordable microphone for podcasting! Sound isolation, filter and quality is fantastic, especially for the price. Easy to set up and really appreciate the USB plug and play ability.

I bought this for my son who like many kids these days wants to be a famous YouTube personality. The sound quality is top notch for the price range. The mic itself is very solid (heavy) and you can tell it is a quality product that will be very durable and last you for a very long time. He has used it for VLOG's and for voice recording (singing) on some of the songs that he has written and recorded. The sound quality is very crisp/clean. You can tell a huge difference between this mic and other mics that are less expensive. This Mic is also extremely popular with the YouTube ASMR community, and if you don't know what ASMR is, lets just say that precise audio quality is very important so that says a lot. If you've read other reviews of mine on here you will notice most of them are 5 stars. There is a good reason for that. I am extremely diligent in my research before I make a purchase and I rate a product based on what it is, what it does, how that compares to others around it's price point, and the overall value you get for the money you spend. I will never rate a product based on small personal annoyances or things such as "damaged in shipping" etc. That diminishes the review in itself for people just wanting to know if the product itself is a good value. This Mic definitely is.
