This microphone is a great price! It is super sensitive, and will up your audio game for podcasting or vlogging. I let my son use it when we game together. He uses the Yeti as his mic, and I can hear everything happening in his room, like if his sister or mom are talking, with great clarity!! Furthermore, the audio quality for vlogging or streaming is impressive. It can easily match pricier ones with software, just look online for how to videos.

This mic is great for podcasting, recording instruments, or just about anything. It's far superior to my laptop's built-in Mic. It connects to Windows 8 and installs instantly, no drivers needed. The only issue I have with it is that it disconnects from my PC after about a day on my USB 2.0 ports, and to fix it I have to unplug it and plug it back in. I resolved this issue by using a USB 3.0 port instead. Maybe my USB 3.0 port provides more power that it needs, I don't know. The sound that this records is AMAZING quality. It sounds just like a mic used on a high quality FM radio station. Audio is Crisp, clear and distinct with great lows, good mid tones, and nice highs. The only mic better sounding than this costs twice or three times as much. This mic may not be good for very loud singing, but it excels at recording normal volume vocals and talking.

Can be positioned upright or pointed at a lowered angle for shelf placement. USB connection powers the unit without additional power input source. No additional software required but can be useful for sound editing. May be considered large and heavy. Can be removed from included base frame stand and mounted to a swivel arm apparatus. Sound capture quality is very good for price. Plug and play.

Simply put his mic is amazing! I purchased it for use in my recording studio and i am not in any way sorry i did. I have wanted to get a blue mic for several years now and i am very satisfied with my choice of the yeti. It is versitile and so easy to use. Can be used by anyone, anywhere. All by its self the yeti can capture studio quality sound that normally takes multiple mics placed in the right spots to pic up. Wud give it more than 4 stars if possible!

I use the Blue Yeti for work from home, and it’s been fantastic. The sound quality is clear and professional, which makes a big difference in meetings and recordings. I mainly use the mic for recording voice overs in YouYube videos. It sounds great and is very easy to use. The mute button flashes red telling you it's muted which is very nice. It also has settings to pick up sounds in different directions like Stereo, Omnidirectional, Bidirectional, and Cardioid. Gain knob on the mic for easy use and a hand headphone jack right on the mic. All in all this is a winner.

I have used this product for about 4 months. This mic has exceeded my expectations when it comes to its simplicity and price. The mic itself is sensitive to where you don't have it near you at all. I have my mic about 2 ft away when communicating with people while playing pc online games (Overwatch, Battlefield, COD, etc.). I recommend you try this product especially if you want to get something that is good in quality and usability as well as price.

I needed a good mic for audio recording. I had one but it wasn't usb, and I couldn't record in stereo. I bought one online and it was a piece of junk. No gain control and a bad hiss. So reluctantly I ran over to Best Buy and was shown the yeti. It solved my problems. Nice clean recordings and very versitile. Im sure there are better mic online, but this one is near studio quality. I love it! So it gets 5 stars for its ease of use, and quality and functionality.

Plugged in and played around with this mic for spoken word recording on my iMac. The sound was wonderfully true with no hum. Being able to plug my headphones in to the mic for real time monitoring made for a seamless recording experience as well. It is big, though.

I have been looking around for this microphone everywhere for a decent amount of time and one day I went to one of the BB stores and noticed that it was on sale. I grabbed it and was looking forward to hooking this bad boy up to my PC. It is extremely big, if you have a small desk I would suggest that you start thinking of where you are going to place it or mount it. It picks up the slightest of sounds even with the Gain all the way down. The outcome of the recordings sound great.

This microphone cam highly recommended, and I am very satisfied. Setup was easy, and sound quality is very good. I use it for podcasting. I especially like the versatility of this mic, as it has 4 different modes, depending on what you are recording. I would definitely buy it again.

A colleague told me about his purchase of a similar product. I went to Best Buy.com to see what he purchased and noticed this one. I read the reviews of the item and determined it would be perfect for my needs. It works perfectly, is easy to set up (plug and play) and use (instructions for use are clear). The resulting recording was crystal clear! It's also not too bulky, so it can sit on my shelf ready for me to use.

After reading several reviews and having it recommended as one of the better microphones, I purchased my first Yeti. Needless to say, I was not disappointed with the quality of the product, quality of the sound, or ease of use in setting up. It was a little on the expensive side but well worth it.

If I’m being honest, this Blue Yeti is the first in what I hope will be a long line of microphones in my collection. I’ve just started diving into the world of audio and recording—something that’s been high on my list of interests for a long time—and so far, this mic hasn’t let me down. There’s definitely a learning curve when it comes to getting things like compression, reverb, and gain just right. But honestly, it reminds me of those old TVs with all the tuning dials—you need to spend a little time fine-tuning to get that perfect result, and that’s part of the experience. My only real gripe is the outdated USB connection. I had to buy an adapter to work with my newer computer that primarily uses USB-C. For a mic that still holds its place in modern setups, I expected a more current connection standard. That said, performance-wise? No complaints. It delivers exactly what I hoped for, and I’m excited to keep learning and improving with it.

Excellent audio quality. I was thinking that I may need to install drivers etc. but it was a simple plug and play set up on my windows laptop.
