This is a great microphone. I wanted to upgrade from a Snowball Blue Microphone I bought almost 10 years ago. And got this, it's great. I love that it's got a headphone jack so you can hear the music if you're tracking vocals or doing additional music tracks on top. Mic is heavy and sturdy, feels like a tank that will last me a long time.

Seems to work good, but unable to hear what others hear to know about quality of the sound. Took a long time to get the settings to work, not easy to determine which settings to use. But through the instruction manual and trial and error, ppl say can hear me good now , even when i have surround sound music playing simultaneously. The multiple types of sound pick up available meets the need of all conditions for various situations this mic might be used for. Good product.

Greater than I would have ever imagined for the value and I used this often

Had this mic once before in black but had to return it because I lived with others and it picked up the background. Now that I live alone it is a great choice. Got it on sale too, in blue.

It is a great microphone. It feels like a pro version. It is nice and heavy - feels like it is made extremely well. The recording is perfect. It provides a lot of options depending on environment and usage. For the price, I really don't think you can do better.

This microphone has allowed me to kickoff my voice acting career with a bang! I'm so in love with this mic and encourage anyone doing voice acting, podcasts or YouTube videos to give it a try. There are plenty of videos out there to get you started to ensure you get the best sound quality when using your Yeti.

Easy to operate and adjust. Records easy and sounds great.

Once you get this thing off the stock stand and on a boom arm it’s incredible. All my gaming friends ask what mic I’m using. I love how I can plug in my hyperx cloud revolvers into the yeti and hear myself as well as my teammates. Give your wife and kids a break and buy this, (hearing yourself will reduce the volume of raging)

Very impressed with the quality of Blue Yeti microphone. I chose it based on professional reviews. I'm a novice user. Since buying, I told a friend who is in the production business about my purchase - he told me I had chosen well. I recommend it.

The mic is great - the sound it pulls is that of professional quality. I docked a star due to the metal encasing not fitting the knobs and mute button. When I turn the gain/volume knobs they grind against it and the mic picks it up, as well as the knobs will wear down over time. I exchanged my original purchase for another mic, and this one is slightly better with this, but I’ve learned I have to reposition by force each knob as I use them to prevent the grind. A great mic still though!

Have used this for awhile for singing practice with a tutor on Zoom. It really works well and makes our sessions so much better than when i just used my headphones microphone.

Love this mic and the audio quality is very good. The only negative is that randoms in game lobbies complain that my mic is too loud because it picks up my AC noise, but let that be a testament to the good audio quality. Highly recommend.

The medium score reflects the fact that there may be better products for you. For my purposes, for example, I may have been better off using the money to buy multiple lavalier mics. Others may want a non-USB option, in which case you may want to look at Pro models. But otherwise the Blue Yeti appears versatile and tough. I could wish for small design changes but very likely you'll be able to do what you want with this mic with a little bit of research and adjusting. It also looks impressive on your desk.
