I’ve never had a good reason to justify getting one, though. However, I am now considering doing some voice over work from home, and maybe a podcast, so I decided to go ahead and take the plunge. So far, I am very pleased. The mic looks nice and performs well. The audio pickup is very clear and accurate, but I did need to purchase a foam filter for it to mitigate ambient noise and popping p’s, etc.
