The dynamic range is phenomenal! It can be set for any of four reception patterns. I use it with the latest Garage Band, and for audiobook recordings or podcasts, it’s spectacular! I’m very pleased with this mic, it’s sturdy and stable construction, and the great job it does!

No headset

I purchased this to have a better experience for my online work. I simply plugged in my ear buds and do not have to wear a heavy headset all day. My plan was to purchase a wireless headset to use with it but have not, yet. Loving it.

Believe it or not, I was using the built-in mic on a Microsoft LifeCam before. Absolutely no comparison between the two. Solid construction. Great sound quality. Gain, recording pattern, and on-mic mute button all very convenient. Sometimes picks up bumps from the surface the base rests on. Nothing a good boom won't solve.

Everyone compliments me on how crisp the audio sounds when I talk into this microphone. After about a year I had some issues with the audio, so I contacted the company. I shipped it to them they determined that there was a defect and they sent me a brand new one at no charge. This is a company that makes a fantastic product and stands behind it.

Have only got this recently for streaming gameplay and couldnt be happier. Has extra features to change your voice with their software and other setting changes if needed for great sound quality. I was not expecting much but pleasantly surprised that it works like a charm. I think they could have done a better job by adding some basic effects like reverb, bass, and/or treble control, but that's just the perfectionist part of me. :)
