Decent sound quality, poor connectivity

Decent sound quality, and plug and play over USB - however the ancient Mini USB connection is very loose, and the mic disconnects if I bump my desk at all, even when mounted to an arm. It seems like sometimes itll reconnect to power, but not data, so the mic never reconnects in Windows until i unplug and plug it back in. Returning after two weeks.

Great sound quality and features
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is definitely a step up from both built in Mic on iMac, as well as Bluetooth Plantronics Voyager. my only "complaint is that it is sensitive enough to pick up typing, so I get extra sound effects... ;-) Am still trying to determine the best configurations for mic and not internal speaker giving me freedom to move bit. Still it was a great purchase.

Blue Yeti Professional Multi-Pattern Microphone

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a college professor who records my classes "live" to make my presentations and audio content available online for my students. I am currently using my fourth Blue Yeti Microphone. My first one lasted several years with no problems at all, until it suddenly fell silent. I replaced it with a second one, which lasted only six months. I replaced it with yet another Blue Yeti, and it didn't even last a month. My current Blue (new) Yeti has lasted a month so far and is going strong. We will see what the future holds for it. In every case, when the microphone would go down, it was because the computer (both Mac and PC) could not find it. I replaced the USB cable to no avail. But when I replaced the defective mic, the computers found the it without a hitch. So, I guess it is a hit-or-miss thing. Why did I not buy a different brand microphone you might ask. Well, I was so happy with the first one that I was sure that the bad ones were just a fluke. I guess time will tell!
