I bought one online and it was a piece of junk. No gain control and a bad hiss. So reluctantly I ran over to Best Buy and was shown the yeti. It solved my problems. Nice clean recordings and very versitile. Im sure there are better mic online, but this one is near studio quality. I love it! So it gets 5 stars for its ease of use, and quality and functionality.

The sound was wonderfully true with no hum. Being able to plug my headphones in to the mic for real time monitoring made for a seamless recording experience as well. It is big, though.

I grabbed it and was looking forward to hooking this bad boy up to my PC. It is extremely big, if you have a small desk I would suggest that you start thinking of where you are going to place it or mount it. It picks up the slightest of sounds even with the Gain all the way down. The outcome of the recordings sound great.

Perfect for my needs!

I went to Best Buy.com to see what he purchased and noticed this one. I read the reviews of the item and determined it would be perfect for my needs. It works perfectly, is easy to set up (plug and play) and use (instructions for use are clear). The resulting recording was crystal clear! It's also not too bulky, so it can sit on my shelf ready for me to use.

Incredible microphone

Uses micro to usb which I was more worried about as those cables are aging out and realllly heavy to put on a boom stick. Otherwise does exactly what it needs to do. Would recommend a pop filter with it

Needless to say, I was not disappointed with the quality of the product, quality of the sound, or ease of use in setting up. It was a little on the expensive side but well worth it.

Setup was easy, and sound quality is very good. I use it for podcasting. I especially like the versatility of this mic, as it has 4 different modes, depending on what you are recording. I would definitely buy it again.
