    I purchased this mic thinking I would be able to get sound out of this, but really the sound runs into your computer so for me this was just the wrong purchase. Yeti makes great stuff though!

    I bought this largely due to all the positive ratings it had and I am terribly disappointed. Once I figure out if I can return it without a box I will be returning it. It seems to be a quality product that uses quality materials, and software/driver wise I have no issues there either. I bought this to do voiceovers for YouTube and even on the cardioid setting with the gain all the way down it picks up my voice bouncing off the monitor as I narrate. I have been playing with different software and drivers for it with all the same outcomes which leads me to believe that this mic simply isn't for me. The close-quarters environment created by my monitors (which I need to see to narrate) seems to be an Achilles heel for this mic. Hope this helps someone, I'm certain this mic works for others but I wanted to share this scenario.

    The Mic works great but be careful with the usb connection on the Mic as it can be easily bent if you try to adjust angle of microphone.
