Quality is really excellent. They picked them because several popular you tubers use them and at first I thought they were a bit expensive, but they are very high quality and have worked very nicely for us. The mics pick up voices really nicely and eliminate background noise and even the air movement sound that you sometimes get on more sensitive microphones. I would highly recommend.

Yeti Microphone works well

Though I can't hear myself using it, people on the other end of my zoom calls tell me that it works better than the microphone on my computer. I like that it starts up automatically when I plug it into the laptop. I do not use the stand that comes with it. I use it attached to a boom that is sitting on the floor. The microphone floats above my head off to the side, out of the view of the camera.

I've also used it to "re-record" content that was in "cassette" format and transferred it into digital format. It gets high marks all around. I am highly encouraged by the result, and will undertake more recordings. I almost feel like a professional!

It was on sale for a good price so I figured why not go for a brand I've heard recommended before. Though I haven't gotten to use it much because I've been busy, the times I've tested it out it worked very well. It picked up some weird buzzing when I used it to record a video last, but I've read that's a common problem that happens when you set it up wrong. I'm pretty sure it was due to user error anyway because I've been messing around trying to find the best settings and that has only happened once. I'm not sure how I'm going to get a pop filter to attach to this thing when I start making things I'd be willing to share but I'm satisfied with this purchase nonetheless.
