This was my second microphone purchase after a failed first one. I saw this on sale and price matched it so I got an amazing deal on this typically expensive microphone. As for how it works? AMAZING. I use it for amateur recording with GarageBand. It records clearly and it's very crisp. I love that there are settings for different types of recording and the no latency is a great feature, so I can tell when I mess up right away. Also, there really isn't a need for a pop filter with this mic, as far as I have seen.

The first Blue Yeti I purchased didn't work at all, I plugged it into multiple computers and it was never recognized by windows. After extensive troubleshooting I exchanged it for another one that worked (temporarily) the second Blue Yeti was USB auto play detected by windows and worked perfectly for about 2 months then without warning just stopped recording. The computer still recognized the microphone and loaded the drivers, but no sound was captured by the microphone even the headphones plugged into the microphone worked perfectly. I tried all configurable microphone patterns, made sure the mute button was not active, disabled,- enabled drivers in windows, disabled other inactive recording devices via control panel, and even swapped out the USB cable without success. I submitted a trouble report form and emailed the manufacturer for assistance a few days ago they haven’t yet responded. Thankfully I was able to return for store credit and bought another brand. I rated my review as fair rather than poor because when the microphone was functional it was exceptional.

I wanted to get away from using a gaming headset; they kept dying on me. Now I’m using aux plug beats headphones and this mic. I questioned whether the mic would work as well, but it turned out to be even better. Software is noninvasive and easy to install/use. Additionally, the mic has various modes which seem to work true to their intended nature.

I am a musician and music teacher. I have used this both in small rooms with solo instrument and large rooms with full ensembles. Works great! Best quality I have found in a condenser mic.

I bought this to use for recording acoustic sessions and the quality and options given are great. Plus the build quality is high end. The product is big but easy to use and work with.

It is a good microphone. It is realy easy to use however if you are using this with audacity and the logitech settings are not working i did find that you need to change the input to yeti logitech before it would just say microphone. this mic is good for starting out recording. If you are just using this for youtube discord it is good at that. However i would say that this a good mic for voiceovers as oppose to livestreaming.

Perfect for use with the speakers we purchased. My Autistic son uses the Mic with the sound program mixing sounds. The mic was recommended by our geek squad member that helped us out recently at our house.

Really incredible recording quality. Definitely worth the extra cost over other models if you actually care about the quality of what you're trying to record.

The blue yeti mic in blackout color. Its good, durable, afforable, and heavy ish. But overall, it is a good classic mic for beginners who want to buy their first mic without breaking the bank. I had for a little bot over 2 years now. And still alive and running well.

This is an outstanding microphone, I use it for work meetings and personal conferences. It has extensive setting for whatever your project will be. I love how you can remove it from the standard base and place it in your own tripod or arm extension. I totally recommend this one for someone who is looking for a next level quality of audio and features than the standard.

I'm using this microphone for Skype-ing with a group of people at one end of the conversation. It picks up the voices well even for those at the end of the table. It works very well for this application.

My son wanted this for online use. He uses it everyday, it's still working with no issues. If you need a microphone, get this...don't even hesitate!
