Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.overall this mic is a very good condenser microphone on a pc with the right settings but I returned mine because I was looking for a mic for console streaming and you can’t really change any of the software on the PlayStation and the default settings on the mic aren’t the best and the mic is really sensitive so it picks up a lot of background noise, you can’t speak too loudly when you’re close to the mic because it cracks and pops (clips) even with the gain set to the lowest and the lowest microphone setting on PlayStation is still clips when speak to close to the mic. if you’re planning on getting a mic for the PlayStation 5 I would recommend getting a dynamic mic.

We'd like to let you know that the Blue Yeti is officially not compatible with PlayStation 5. It is only compatible with Windows 10 or later and macOS 10.14 or later. I have not had the need so far for one but I thought that I was going to use it on a video. I read the reviews and saw the Yeti's got excellent reviews on every site. I am one that likes to buy products that will last so I only have to make one purchase not 2 or 3. This one fit the mold and had multiple choices for either interviews or videos in the studio.
