I dabble in online video production. I had decided to attempt doing a voice over video, but did not have a mic (except that on my camera and laptop). I took a chance buying the Yeti because I did not do my normal research on the product. In fact, I bought it as I was returning a dirt cheap mic that didn't work. It is very well built, and the recording quality is great. I did not have a pop filter but the tip of a sock fits and works perfectly. The volume control and mic gain controls are helpful and easy to understand. I also love the ability to use this mic in several different ways (It has different modes for different recording techniques). In the end, it was more expensive than I was planning for, but you get every penny's worth out of it.

The blue yeti is the best microphone I have ever had the pleasure of using, period. This thing has crisp quality sound and it's very sensitive, almost to a fault. Excellent microphone for podcasting and youtube.

The microphone was very easy to use. For me I was able to understand a lot about how to use the product and the guide provided helped fill in the gaps. The sound is great and works well for the price.

This mic is great for someone looking to step up their audio quality in any field such as video creators or live streamers. I will say I really do like this mic, the audio is clear and sounds great and have had no issues whatsoever. Plus the easy USB plug makes this mic so simple and easy to use it's a no brainer to buy the blue yeti.

Love this mic the only thing the usb cord is an outdated cord where you can’t find it anywhere anymore. But over all it’s a great mic. Sound is very crisp. Has a jack for headphones which you can plug in and you can hear everything the mic picks up. Even the softest sound with a door closed will still be heard.

This mic is great. Quiet, clear, no popping, crackling, rumbling, makes good clean communication for Skype, Zoom, and recording piano teaching demos. Unfortunately, it has a fatal flaw - the USB connection is highly unstable and breaks with nothing done to it at all. Apparently it's easy to fix if you feel competent at taking the entire mic apart, and are good at soldering. That makes most of us unable to fix it. Fortunately I had a 2 year replacement plan. I also bought another one because I couldn't live without it. So I will end up with 2 or them and hope at least one works for a long time.

This is the second Yeti we buy for our household. The sound quality is great for Zoom calls and for streaming. We had a El Gato amd retuned it for this.

We use this mic in my office for focus groups of between 5 and 15 people. This microphone is very sensitive is easy to position (just in the center of the table) and picks up the conversation very well.

Great mic for the price. I record a podcast in an open room that is echoey by nature, but you can't even tell when recording into the mic. I highly recommend it.

The nice thing about this microphone over the snowball is the mini output jack which you can use to monitor the audio or output to another recording device. There are options to selectively activate or deactivate the recording capsules to adjust or shape the recording area around the microphone. The gain knob is also a great feature, when you plug in your earphones to monitor the audio, you can adjust the gain to tune out the any other ambient noise you don't want in your recording. Spend a little more and get a Yeti, with the use of the knobs, you can get better sound from the get go!

Excellent option for Teams/Zoom calls. Sounds great to the listener, volume on front is handy andworks well in my set up. I have no complaints and would recommend to anyone needing a mic for virtual meetings. I've not tried it with Cubase yet...

I teach a high school music technology class. A colleague recommended this microphone. After using his for a few projects at school, I knew I had to invest in one for myself!
