The sound was wonderfully true with no hum. Being able to plug my headphones in to the mic for real time monitoring made for a seamless recording experience as well. It is big, though.

I grabbed it and was looking forward to hooking this bad boy up to my PC. It is extremely big, if you have a small desk I would suggest that you start thinking of where you are going to place it or mount it. It picks up the slightest of sounds even with the Gain all the way down. The outcome of the recordings sound great.

I went to Best Buy.com to see what he purchased and noticed this one. I read the reviews of the item and determined it would be perfect for my needs. It works perfectly, is easy to set up (plug and play) and use (instructions for use are clear). The resulting recording was crystal clear! It's also not too bulky, so it can sit on my shelf ready for me to use.

The mic in the laptop and two external mics I purchased were great for speech but filtered out my piano. Surprise! So did my iPhone. What was going on? This Blue Yeti works great for music and speech and gives me several setup options. I like the price, too.

Needless to say, I was not disappointed with the quality of the product, quality of the sound, or ease of use in setting up. It was a little on the expensive side but well worth it.

Good for work or gaming
