Great mic, wish it had an off button

However, I wish it had an off button - stays on with annoying red light, or blinking light when I do mute. My speakers that are plugged into my computer are disabled when the mic is on (which is whenever it is physically connected to a USB port.) The mic has a headset port but if I'm not using a headset I want to let the audio go to my other speakers. So I end up disconnecting the mic when I am not using it - which is inconvenient because the usb port is on the bottom. The mic quality is great.

Good for podcasting!

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So I bought it for podcasting thinking I was doing myself a huge favor by buying an expensive mic. But it is a condense mic, which means it pick up everything. The room needs to be sound proof in order to get a bang for your buck. Overall, I enjoy using it. I just wish I hadn’t spent so much money on it when I could have bought two mic for the price of the yeti one and still get a great sound.
