I think the setting is confusing and I had to watch a bunch of YouTube videos just to get the sound I wanted.

Great microphone

No need to download extra software, it's plug and play with Mac , PC and tablets. The mic will run off of the device power. The playback sound is very clear. I would definitely recommend this mic

I am currently using my fourth Blue Yeti Microphone. My first one lasted several years with no problems at all, until it suddenly fell silent. I replaced it with a second one, which lasted only six months. I replaced it with yet another Blue Yeti, and it didn't even last a month. My current Blue (new) Yeti has lasted a month so far and is going strong. We will see what the future holds for it. In every case, when the microphone would go down, it was because the computer (both Mac and PC) could not find it. I replaced the USB cable to no avail. But when I replaced the defective mic, the computers found the it without a hitch. So, I guess it is a hit-or-miss thing. Why did I not buy a different brand microphone you might ask. Well, I was so happy with the first one that I was sure that the bad ones were just a fluke. I guess time will tell!
