I know it does work because a friend of mine had one and it was great. I think it is great for starting out on voice over work but I did return it since it was not working .....should of called support.

Posted .The Blue Yeti actually works perfectly fine without headphones! Headphones are only necessary if you want to monitor your audio input in real-time, to avoid echo during recording or streaming.
