This was a Christmas gift for my son and he said that he loves it. His friends can hear him really well now. I did a lot of research before purchasing this one and it got really good reviews. I think it's probably the best mic you can get in this price range.

This mic is perfect for podcasting, I use in cardioid mode and records only my voice with any background noice. It is heavy and big so it is recommended for your desk or tripod.

This microphone picks up everything, I'm glad I can change the grain. Anything I recorded sound pure and clear. Would highly recommend. Oh and it's ready to use, no software needed!

I saw this microphone was on sale for 100.00 and took too long to decide to get it..When I finally decided to get it it was back up to 149.00 I keep checking hoping it will go on sale again. I looked online and it was at a nearby Best Buy store. I brought it home plugged it in and started recording! it was that easy and the sound quality is great. I use it to record solos for my horn students. I talk and use a metronome then play the solo. The microphone recorded those different sound levels with no difficulty The speaking is very clear, the metronome is loud enough for the student to hear and use to keep the beat with me and the horn sound did not overpower the mic.

I bought this to do voice overlays on some of the videos I make for my KayakHacksFishing channel on Youtube. I choked at the price, but am glad I bought this. The mic allows you to select various modes of recording and I quickly found the one that produced the best for me. Nice clear reproduction. In addition, I found that Dragon NaturallySpeaking makes fewer errors when I dictate now that I have a better microphone.

The Yeti is a fantastic microphone, easy to use and sounds great! I use it for doing music and recording on Zoom!

I will say, I didn't actually pay for this product, nor was I given it for free by Yeti or Best Buy. I actually was asked to do some voice work for my company and suggested that I get a nice microphone to go with their request. So of course I got reimbursed for this purchase. This thing has so many settings just on the physical piece itself that you won't be disappointed with quality options.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST BUDGET MIC! if you learn how to tune your mic and settings if your streaming with it you can make it sound like an xlr mic without spending a pretty penny amazing sound !
