Awesome Blue Yeti Microphone

The multiple modes let you capture the right amount of sound for your application. I mostly use the Cardiod mode for making videos and it keeps a lot of the ancillary noise out and sounds great. I highly recommend this for video/audio content creators, and unless you're doing something extremely sound critical, I don't think you need to spend the extra $100 for the "Pro" model.

Becareful, this thing can hear you flatulate in another room with several walls in between. So if anyone says they cant hear you, they are either lying or your mic is setup properly.

The big issue I had was a low hum. I found out this was coming from the mic picking up vibrations from the desk. The solution is to move the mic or put it on a stand to get it away from the vibration source. The sound is great, Very clear and warm. Much better than the expensive condenser mic I was using. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I’ve had it for almost a year, and the USB port on the mic itself is a little loose, but other than that, it works great.

I highly recommend using the G hub program alongside so you can configure it to work perfectly. I really like how it has an adjustment for the gain so you can control how much it picks up without having to change audio settings in a program. My only complaints are that it is too good at picking up my mechanical keyboard clacking and that G hub doesn’t have an option for mic feedback so you can hear yourself talk (I tend to be on the quieter side so I like to be sure I’m talking loud enough)
