If that is your reason for purchase then this is the mic for you. I use it for work and tired of headsets going out after a year so I am giving it a shot. I think the 4/5 rating is unjustice cause this is a great mic and everyone says it sounds great. Resoning is because I purchased this mic for the wrong reasons
