But it is a condense mic, which means it pick up everything. The room needs to be sound proof in order to get a bang for your buck. Overall, I enjoy using it. I just wish I hadn’t spent so much money on it when I could have bought two mic for the price of the yeti one and still get a great sound.

However, I wish it had an off button - stays on with annoying red light, or blinking light when I do mute. My speakers that are plugged into my computer are disabled when the mic is on (which is whenever it is physically connected to a USB port.) The mic has a headset port but if I'm not using a headset I want to let the audio go to my other speakers. So I end up disconnecting the mic when I am not using it - which is inconvenient because the usb port is on the bottom. The mic quality is great.

My friends say they cant tell an immediate difference just out of the box in comparison to my old 30 dollar microphone but it certainly doesnt sound worse and i have a little more functionality with it
