It’s alright pretty basic microphone a little pricey for quality the stand you can buy separately it’s very hard to adjust so if your looking for a microphone with a stand that holds it up this ain’t the best microphone for that but if it’s just gonna sit on your desk it’s alright

I like the microphone. I gave it a 3 star because the first one I bought maybe 2 months ago was unusable after the port fell out. The 2nd is going fine and I still like it. I got insurance this time.

The Blue Yeti professional USB microphone is by far one of the best microphones I've ever used that don't exceed $300 in price. As a little bit of a background, I use this microphone solely for livestreaming (think podcast w/ video), and having a microphone that is both rich in sound quality and easy to use is essential. When people join my stream, one of the things they're primarily looking for is great sound quality, and the Blue Yeti hits up and above the expectations people come with. Although I haven't used it for recording any singing, I have also heard that it's great to use in that area as well. The price on this product is also great. If your Best Buy offers a price match, I would highly recommend you price match it on Amazon ($50 discount). With this discount, I gladly paid the extra cost for a warranty which I haven't needed as of yet. I've heard reviews stating that the microphone picks up unwanted sound, and coming from someone who lives in a quiet house, I can say that it does pick up the sound from my chair rolling on the hard ground, along with sounds from my (mechanical) keyboard and mouse. However, if you really want to eliminate that extra sound, a filter is definitely needed. A friend of mine just puts a wool sock over his microphone as a cheap alternative. The only aspects of this microphone that I don't like are the size, and the knobs to tighten the mic. Both are VERY small details, and it definitely doesn't affect the way I use this microphone. The size was a LOT bigger than I expected; it's almost 12 inches upright, and blocks a portion of my monitor when in use. This is easily overcome by sitting in a better more upright posture, and tilting the microphone back a little bit, facing upwards towards my mouth. The second thing I've noticed about the microphone, is the little knobs on the side to tighten the mic from falling and tilting come loose pretty easily. I often have to re-tighten them when I adjust my microphone. All in all, there is no better alternative for this great microphone when in use with podcasts. The sound is rich and fulfilling, picking up the bass tones and higher tones with ease. It'll pick up your whispers and your yelling, all keeping it roughly the same volume. I get comments all the time on my livestreams about my microphone, and I've already recommended it to a few friends.

This is a pretty good mic. We use it for vocal lessions via an online medium and so far we haven't got any complaints from any teachers. It is easy to connect via USB port and straightforward to setup. The only downside is its a pretty big mic, and the base is quite heavy. It may not be the most pleasant for frequent travellers carrying this around.

I have to continuously unplug the USB cord from the microphone and plug it back in because it says no microphone signal it's not on the end of my PC it's in the microphone

Very easy to set up, sound quality is great, only requires a USB cord to power. Plugged it into a Macbook Pro and ran through Logic X with no problems (remember to chance input settings in Logic). Only possible downside is that it's possibly too big for on the go recording (stands almost a foot tall and is a bit heavy) but if it's just living on your desk this is an excellent choice for the price.

I couldn’t be happier with my Blue Yeti Professional Multi-Pattern USB Condenser Microphone. The sound quality is incredible — super clear, crisp, and professional right out of the box. Do you want to sound like a professional? This is the mic to have - rich sound, multiple options - cardioid , stereo, omnidirectional or bi-directional for interviews, all of which are selected by a simple switch. It has an excellent silent-mute button (to cover your cough or clearing your throat with no clicks or on-off pops). Easily the best thing for podcasts, narrations, voice -overs and video recording. It also looks fantastic. I bought a mic stand for my Blue Yeti and also a spider shock mount along with foam cover and pop filter. The spider shock mount will definitely remove any electrical 'hum' you might get if you put the mic on the same desk as a PC - although you can always sit the mic on some dampening material or similar but the shock mount is the right way to do it ;) A great microphone and a bargain for the price too.

One of the best parts is how easy it is to tune. You’ve got all your main controls—like gain and different pickup patterns—right on the mic itself, so you can adjust your sound on the fly without digging through annoying software menus. It’s a bit of a desk hog because of that size, but the plug-and-play simplicity makes it worth the space.

The Blue Yeti in Blackout is an incredible piece of gear. The sound quality is professional and crystal clear, making it perfect for podcasting and streaming.
