I play guitar and sing and this mic works great. I usually set it to the stereo setting when I'm playing guitar to get the best sound quality. But sometimes I switch it to the front setting so only the sound in front of the mic is picked up and background house sounds are not, like my dog licking itself. This thing picks up EVERYTHING. I had to play with the settings so that it wouldn't pick up sounds that I didn't want it to, but once that was achieved, the sound I hear on playback, and the sound my friends hear when I use this live, is crystal clear with no effort. I love it and looks forward to using it for a long time

I went back and forth about this microphone and watched several reviews before making my purchase. I may have been satisfied with the Snowball but I can honestly say that this Yeti has exceeded all of my expectations. I only use it for YouTube streaming and reviewing but I'm sure I'm only scratching the surface of it's potential.

I honestly wasn't sure if this would do all that I wanted it to and with all of the different pick up mic patterns that you can select, it truly will work for any situation. Great all around sound quality for a USB mic. great low end response as well as speaking voice. I was very happy with the quality of the recordings it produced.

This microphone does a nice job of recording your voice or musical instrument. It's plug and play device, and produces a full and rich tone. However, it is a bit heavy and bulky.

If you want upgraded audio for multiple uses this mic is the one. We use it for a variety of things at our church whether voiceover for video or interviews / podcasting and you can even lay down a solid vocal for music too. Seems to be a solid piece of equipment of quality as well. It’s a great value for what all it will provide for you. Looks great too!

This is an excellent microphone and I am very pleased with the quality. I use this microphone for online FPS gaming and screen recording and the my voice quality is crisp, clear and HD. Purchasing this mic has been one of the best investments for my gaming setup. If you are not picky about color, go with the space grey color as they are similar in color and have the same features / quality / functionality.

Awesome sound. Neat little switch to change the way it picks up sound, depending on the way you're using it (one setting for picking up a conversation among a group of people, another setting for a single person using it, another for two people, etc.). Great mic. If you want the best one Best Buy has to offer, this is it.

If you are serious about voice, creating Podcasts, or voice gaming this microphone is the one. The voice quality is awesome. No software was required, just plugged in and started using on PC and on Tablets (Galaxy and iPad Air)

My son has had a Blue Yeti for about 2 years & now working more from home prompted me to get my own. Quality is great & variety of functions to accommodate many needs. Only drawback was when I was trying get my son's mic warrantied, it took forever with customer service. Persistence & receipt finally got it done.
